This is Reece! He`s a handsome 2-year-old poodle mix, who weighs about 60 pounds and sports a beautiful chocolate, tan, and silver coat. We do not know much about his past, but life as a family pet seemed new to him when he first arrived. Now, after a few weeks in foster care, Reece is relaxing and letting his sweet personality shine.Reece can be uncomfortable with new people and experiences, but once he feels secure, he enjoys attention and affection. A friendly companion dog would help him get used to his new home. (We`re not sure about cats, but he showed only curiosity with the one he encountered so far.) Reece has not been around children in his foster home, but we think he would do well with children who are comfortable around a large dog and able to be calm around him until he`s settled in.Reece walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. He seems fully house trained. He doesn`t shed, so he will need regular grooming. We’d like to see him go to a home with a securely fenced yard for play and exercise.Reece is one of our ambassador dogs. His adoption fee of $300 helps cover expenses for other fosters who need more medical or long term care. Reece is UTD on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
