You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on May 1st and arrive on May 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 4/8/26 Dog Name: Olive Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Standard Poodle Mix Approximate Age: 3.5 years Approximate Weight: 45 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: Beautiful Olive was surrendered as the resident dogs do not like her, she was saved and given a loving home but unfortunately the dogs living in the home have not welcomed her. She deserves a home where she can play and run and get all the love and affection she desires! She gets along great with other dogs herself and loves kids. She is also both already housebroken and crate trained! We know it won’t take her long to find her new forever! Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. April 27, 2026, 1:59 am

Story
I’m really busy with work and I can’t take care of a dog her size. The first picture is of her groomed with the “poodle cut.” Even though she can get super fluffy, she doesn’t shed and she’s hypoallergenic. I really love her and it’s hard to let her go but I want her to be with a family that can give her the care and love she deserves. She’s a really playful dog and she will make you feel extremely loved with her snuggles. She smart and she understands commands quickly. She’s a little spoiled with her treats and toys but I just can’t give her the time and attention she needs. I’m not looking to get any money from giving her up. I just want her to go to a safe and loving home.

Story
Hey there! I’m new to Rescue Gang.I just arrived and I'm still getting settled in. The team is taking time to help me feel safe and learn all about my unique quirks and personality.Since Rescue Gang is a foster-based rescue, most of us live in private homes. That means you’ll need an approved application to chat with my foster and learn more about me.If you’re interested, email adopt@rescuegang.org to apply to ask questions. I can’t wait to meet my future family!DATCP#483538

Story
Auggie is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle who is the perfect mix of smart, loving, and playful. He’s neutered, microchipped, and received full vet care in March, including vaccines, bloodwork, and heartworm testing. He has a great moderate energy level—he loves walks, running, and fetch, but is just as happy lounging on the couch. Auggie is well-trained (sit, down, gentle, drop, paws up), leash/potty/kennel trained, and can be trusted loose. He’s great for grooming and calm at the vet. He’s helped foster 30+ dogs and has a huge heart. Auggie loves kids, does well with cats, and can live in a house or apartment. No separation anxiety. He does not resource guard with people, but has mild guarding with dogs—best as an only dog, though females or small dogs are okay.Adoption fee flexible—best home is the priority. I am willing to send him with his food, bed, collar/leash/harness, and some of his favorite toys/treats- as I want this transition to be smooth.
