Story
Hello- my name is Schatzie! I was owner surrendered to a local vet office when my owner couldn’t care for me anymore. I am a beautiful schnauzer estimated at about 5yrs old and weigh 15lbs- so perfect for traveling with you! I am a little shy at first, but love to be around people once I know you. I get along well with other dogs, too. I walk pretty good on leash but will need your help establishing a schedule/routine to help with my potty training. My $450 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming. If you want to make me part of your family please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Onyx is a three year old giant schnauzer that is new to the rescue. He's still in rehabilitation, so almost ready for adoption, but we're accepting applications for when he's ready. Onyx LOVES toys and getting lots of exercise, he's a big boy that loves to play! He's also good with other dogs too, has not been tested around cats.Onyx prefers a home with females, so would do best in a home without men. Because of his active nature, a home without children would be best. We need an adopter who will be patient, Onyx needs time to warm up to you and someone who will follow up with his training. An adopter with giant schnauzer or similar breed experience is required, Onyx requires someone that will understand his behavior and grooming needs took ensure the best forever home. If you think Onyx would be a good fit for your home and would like to learn more about him, please apply today.

He has spent a long time in the shelter, not understanding why adopters kept passing him by. As volunteers, we would see Sully often and he pulled at our heart. We made the decision to foster him and hoped that he would get along with our crew of 4. Sully gets along with our others dogs pretty dog gone well! Shy and timid at first, within a week he  was completely out of his shell, knowing he was in safe hands. He does seem a little more skeptical of men, but has become accepting within a couple weeks. Sully enjoys playing with his foster brothers and sisters and loves his soft toys. He plays with the other dogs as well as by himself. Sully enjoys walks, birthday parties, cuddles, running in the yard, hanging with his friends and relaxing. He absolutely loves sleeping on the bed with his foster human but is also content in his crate. We never hear any complaints from Captain Sully. He's a pretty well rounded pup. Sully wishes for someone to give him a chance and a furever home to make his ultimate dream come true.
