You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Eboney was surrendered by family when the family moved out of state.  He is a great dog who is sweet, friendly, and loves to play.  He rides well in the car, enjoys other dogs, cats, and children and going for walks, and  lots of exercise. This plucky little guy will get you with his puppy dog eyes. We believe he is a mix of mini Schnauzer and Westie. At about 9 months old, he weighs 15 pounds and should max out at 20 pounds. Mendy needs surgery to fix a congenital condition (Legg-Calves-Perthes Disease) causing pain in his rear leg and making it difficult for him to walk. He may never have a perfect gait, but the surgery should eliminate any pain. We are hoping to do his surgery in the next week. Mendy loves all humans and doesn't believe in personal space, however he does not seem to be fond of other dogs. Hopefully as he settles into his foster home and begins training, he will begin to accept other animals. Mendy is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing. Story
Acquired Snuggles from a friend who had to move. She was 6 at the time and I’ve had her for 6 years. Everything was great until July of 2025. When we went to give birth she got into the trash and we noticed a lot of problems to we took her to the vet. Then they told us she was diabetic and required insulin for the rest of her life and also had cataracts in both eyes. The more we visit the vet, the more problems came up. She also has a level 4 heart murmur which stops her from getting certain procedures that they recommend such as eye surgery. It’s hard for us as we have a newborn, both parents work and she’s home for a few hrs by herself We don’t want to give her up but I know it’s for the best that we find her a new home with someone that can give her the care and attention she requires.

Story
This handsome little man is Riley!  Riley is a 7-month-old Schnauzer mix.  He was recently surrendered to E.A.R.S.  Riley gets excited when it’s play time and he also enjoys going for walks.  However, climbing into a lap is still his favorite thing to do.  Riley does well with other small dogs (we are unsure of how he will do with larger dogs or cats).  He will make a fun addition to any family or a wonderful companion.
