Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Randy came to PRBJ from a kill shelter. The shelter reached out to see if we could assist in taking some of their new arrivals. Randy is a sweet older dog. He is potty trained and knows several commands such as sit and shake. He does not love getting in the crate. Due to his age, we recommend an adult home or one with older/considerate kids. One of the major benefits of owning a Schnauzer is that they are by nature, a low shedding breed. They are known for having a distinctive double-layered coat. Their undercoat is soft and dense, whereas their outer coat is wiry in appearance. Brushing of the facial hair, especially the mustache and beard, along with the legs are typically required each day. This will prevent matting and tangles, and irritation/discomfort to this area. Regular 6 week grooming appts are needed to maintain their coat and unique gentlemanly and bearded look.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2025, 7:35 am

In between kisses she will be sleepling the day away and just looking for love. She is deaf and partially blind but she doesnt let that stop her from being the bestest girl. Can you give her the most loving forever home? From Mary:Hi, Im Mary, a super sweet Schnauzer/Poodle mix! Im looking for my forever home where I can relax and enjoy my golden years. Im the perfect companion for someone who loves to chill, snuggle, and enjoy the simple things in life. A word from my foster: Mary is a perfectly sweet, senior girl with a quirky personality! As she gets comfortable, shell open up more and be extra snuggly. Story
Sam is an adorable scruffy terrier that is affectionately known as a Snorkie (a Schnauzer /Yorki mix). Sam is about a year old and very smart as he knows sit and down and is already potty trained. This sweet boy was rescued from a high-kill shelter because we knew he needed more time to find the right home. When Sam arrived at Abandoned Pet Rescue, he wouldn't like anyone touch his back, but now he enjoys getting attention. Someone may have not been nice to him in the past, but he's quickly learning to trust again and he loves being told that he's a good boy. A home that will continue to build Sam's confidence and trust would be best. Sam would be best as an only dog for now so he can feel comfortable in a new home. A house with a fenced yard would be ideal while he get comfortable walking on a leash. To adopt Sam, please complete an application at AbandonedPetRescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.
