Spay/Neuter of dog is scheduled at a vet of our choosing and is part of the adoption fee - date will be on the adoption contract - this is if not already sterilized.   We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.  When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. I am a super cute, lovable 8-month-old Schnauzer mix pup (approx. DOB 6/1/25). I might be small, but I have a story of huge resilience. I was rescued from a backyard breeder in Pinellas County. When I was first saved, I couldn't walk at all, but I’ve worked so hard, and I am now a happy, zooming puppy who loves life! My Personality I am incredibly sweet and affectionate. Now that I’ve learned how to walk, I love to explore! I am playful, eager to be loved, and just want to be with my people. My Medical Journey I do have some ongoing neurological problems with my back, but that doesn’t slow my spirit down! My wonderful rescue is working hard to raise funds for a specialized neurologist consult to find out our best options for my care. I am looking for a special adopter who can help me continue my journey to becoming as strong as possible. My Ideal Home Other Dogs:  Yes, I get along great with other dogs! Cats:  I don’t mind them at all. Kids:  Because I’m still a puppy and a little "mouthy" when I get excited, I am recommended for a home with mature children. If you are looking for a lovable, brave little companion and are willing to manage my neurological needs, I am ready to be your best friend. Pretzel's adoption fee is $500 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required. This plucky little guy will get you with his puppy dog eyes. We believe he is a mix of mini Schnauzer and Westie. At about 10 months old, he weighs 18 pounds and should max out at 20 pounds. Mendy loves all humans and doesn't believe in personal space, however he does not seem to be fond of other dogs (though he does make the occasional friend).  Mendy is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing.  He loves to fetch, hoard squeaky toys, and attempt to fly by jumping off the back of the couch.  He ADORES children. Mendy has had surgery to fix a congenital condition (Legg-Calves-Perthes Disease) causing pain in his rear leg and making it difficult for him to walk (which is perhaps why he was trying to fly). He is now doing physical therapy and is doing great.  Other than a small occasional limp, you would never know that there was ever an issue.  He loves to run and would like a family that will be active with him.  Mostly housebroken, but not perfect yet.
