Theo is one year old exactly , very kind dog , still in his puppy stages ! travels well in the car, kennels when I’m out , gone from the house, eats twice a day morning and night, plays well with other dogs! ! Up-to-date with his shots and he gets groomed every eight weeks bath nails, and ears along with our other dog! I’m 67 years old, female, single, and still work. He’s too much for me to have at the house with this other dog I have , who is my granddaughters. She works full time. He’s very playful and likes to play ball catch !! , I am willing to give all of his personal belongings to whoever adopt him. He’s got the kennel, his collar leash and toys and even his bowl of water and food can go with him. He’s a very good guard dog very alert very playful. how I acquired him was my granddaughter had a friend that had a litter wanted to know if we wanted one of the dogs I told her that we would take him for weekend , to much , friend would not take him back so we ended up with him!!

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tucker is a Male Wirehair Terrier mix DOB: September of 2025 Adoption fee: $175 I am a super excited boy. I am very anxious at the shelter. I am always ready to go for walks or engage in playtime. Pending a meet and greet, I should do well with another dog in my new home who is looking for a playmate. I have not been tested with cats at this time. I do have a lot of energy and may bark while crated, I am not suited for apartment life. I will require a physically fenced yard. I am affectionate, and very sweet. I would do well with an active family with older children 8 years or older pending observed interaction. I currently weigh about 28 pounds but should not exceed 35 pounds as a full adult. I will make an excellent walking buddy. I am smart, food motivated and would possibly love disc golf or agility. Maybe just playing fetch in the back yard and then chilling out under the shade tree with my new family. So many wonderful possibilities, I just need a family to share them with.

Story
Nash is a Male Wirehair Dachshund mix DOB: June of 2025 Adoption fee: $175 I am a very sweet boy; I currently weigh around 25 pounds. I am a little shy with new people, but I warm up pretty quickly. I am only one year old, and I have already tested positive for heartworms. I am very healthy otherwise and have begun treatment. I seem to love other dogs. Pending a meet and greet, I should do well with another dog in the home. I have not been tested with cats at this time. I would prefer a home with a fenced yard. I may require it pending your location, previous experience, and/or other plans for containment. I may be okay in a home with older children, 12+. I would prefer a home with a good routine, something a bit more laid back and predictable. I am new to rescue, so they are still learning who I am and what I like. If you are interested in me and would like more information on my heartworm treatment and condition, you can either submit an adoption application or call during hours of operations, both information can be found on our website. www.hsscm.org
