Story
Chester is around 8-10 years old. He is neutered, will be microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Chester hasn’t had the best life. He was dropped off and abandoned at our vets office lobby. He was dirty, covered in fleas and had matted fur. Since then he has been groomed, bathed and given much needed tlc. He is a sweet boy that is crate and house trained. He gets along with dogs and cats. He knows sit and lay down. He is 28 lbs. His adoption fee is $250. He will be ready for his forever home late next week after he has his follow up with our vet. We welcomed this handsome ball of cuteness to The Rescue Inn two days ago from our friends at the Wayne County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center ! Thor was very serious in this picture but don't let that fool you.... he's one happy-go-lucky man! At 6 years old, Thor is past the pesky puppy phase and in the prime of his life! Thor did great in play group with other small dogs at Wayne County. One bigger kid overwhelmed him a bit, but otherwise he's a busy happy guy! Thor rode so nicely in the car ride to TRI. Thor is so sort of wired terrier mix - maybe Norwich or Cairn Terrier. He's medium sized around 40 lbs. Unlike us at this time of the year, pictures make him look skinnier. Thor's a bit fluffy and can stand to lose a few pounds (he does love his cookies).
