Story
Meet Niña! At just 11 months old and 20 pounds, Niña is a sweet, confident Schnauzer mix who loves being wherever her people are. Couch cuddles, walks, tug-of-war, or supervising dinner prep—she’s happy to be your little sidekick!Niña is house trained, crate trained, and settles well when left alone. She’s mostly quiet indoors but may bark at neighborhood dogs. She’s doing well with other dogs and has good leash skills overall, though she can pull a bit. She’s treat-motivated and ready to learn! This curious girl is still working on her manners—especially keeping her paws off the table and resisting the urge to steal socks. She’s also learning to be calmer and more focused around exciting new people and dogs.Niña would thrive in many types of homes as long as she gets daily walks and, most importantly, plenty of time with her people. If you’re looking for a cuddly little companion who wants to be part of the action, Niña may be your girl!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
