Hi, my name is Lexi. I am a 10 yr old 30#  orange/white spayed Brittany.  I am housebroken, utd on vaccines, hw neg and on hw/ft prevention.  I need a family that will love and spoil me, but at the same time to help me feel safe and loved.  I need patience, kindness and a family that will be willing to give me time to let me settle.  I will need a physical fenced in yard and would love another friendly dog, but not necessary, but would like to have a family that is home most of the time to be with me. I’ve not had the best life most of my life. My past person would leave me weeks at a time outside to fend for myself sometime with no water. But a nice lady down the road noticed I was left alone again. She would give me water and food. Even though she had a nice voice I still was very scared of her. When my person was home, I did get to go inside some but no place to lay down or play due to stuff everywhere on the ground. Even though I like smelly stuff it was really hard for me to breath inside. One day my person never came back, and I was alone for few months. The nice lady did feed me and tried to get me to come to her, but I just wasn’t understanding why she needed to touch me. Then one day the nice lady came with another lady.  I ran around the big yard to hide in all my favorite hiding places. I was getting hungry and noticed there was food and water under the porch. It was very hot, so I went for it, and I got trapped. I was very nervous but maybe they were here to help me. My now foster mom tells me every day how beautiful I am with lots of kisses too. I think I like it. I have other brothers and sisters so I’m never alone. They are teaching me the ropes around here. I still get nervous some, but my foster mom is helping me to understand it will be ok. A bonded pair of  9 yr olds are looking for a home to love them and spoil them, they are brother and sister that have been together all their lives.   They are lost without the other one.  They are healthy, UTD and on HW/FT Prevention.  Spayed/Neutered.   They do need a privacy 6’ fence as Katie is a climber.  We were told they were from a hoarding situation and the mom had to go into assisted living, but we got records for their whole lives, and they were always kept utd on vaccines and everything.  So, thinking not quite the hoarding. Cooper Joe 33 # French Brittany/Pointer (Bonded w Katie Mae)  Great with other dogs, they just don’t play with them.  They put them out with the other dogs to play.  Very friendly pair.  They would rather be around their people.  Super sweet, affectionate and they follow each other everywhere. If you are looking for a pair of precious 9 yr olds,  you can’t go wrong with this bonded pair.
