Story
Meet one of our beautiful cats available for adoption- Seymour is a gentle soul from a large group recently rescued. Mosts of the cats rescued were Persian but Seymour is an exception, being a handsome long haired boy without the flat face of the Persians but who will need regular brushing to keep his glorious coat tangle free. Seymour is a very sweet, chilled cat looking for a calm environment and attentive care which will help him thrive. Though initially shy and possibly nervous around new people, with time and patience, he will show that he can become a loyal and loving companion. He's shown he can get along very well with other cats after a slow and thoughtful introduction, and would be happiest with feline friends. If you're looking for a quiet, loving feline who needs a little extra understanding, Seymour might be the perfect match. Rescued with 82 others in a time of crisis, this kitty has been through so much in just a few weeks-and is now ready for the peace and comfort of a forever home.Seymour is currently recovering from a dental surgery but will hopefully soon be ready to officially be adopted. Story
Buttercup is a little beauty looking for that special fur-ever home where she can be absolutely spoiled with love and affection. When she came into the SPCA as a stray Buttercup was pretty wild and had little socialization with humans. She has spent the last few months in a foster home learning what it is to be around people, and is continuing to build her confidence. She can still be easily startled, and anxious of loud noises or fast movements, and would do best in a quiet adult home without children. She is likely not suitable for an inexperienced cat guardian, and ideally needs someone who is prepared to give her all the gentle love and patience she needs to blossom into the loving companion she can be. Buttercup has come a long way and loves pets and scratches, even weaving around the feet of her favourite person, but she can play 'hard to get' and prefers to be the one seeking out the attention. She may never be a lap cat but she is learning how nice it is to cuddle in bed on lazy mornings. Buttercup gets along really well with other cats and is actually very playful, zooming around her foster home with her feline friend. She needs a home with another cat or two to help her be her happiest self. Buttercup needs a patient, understanding adopter who can provide a safe, quiet space where she can be her best self, a curious and playful young kitty. Story
Meet Bagheera, a gentle and very shy cat looking for a patient and loving forever home. This handsome gentleman prefers quiet corners and calm environments where he can feel safe. Bagheera has some allergies that require a special diet. He may take a little while to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he's a sweet and loyal companion. Bagheera is looking for a very specific match. A quiet home with no children would be best. The right adopter would ideally have experience with cats and be familiar with their care.
