Story
Meet SERENA, a beautiful, dark brown, Tabby with stunning green eyes and small tufts jutting off her ear tips. Serena and her sister, Venus, were trapped on the campus of UCLA in May of 2021 - where they were born to a feral, Lynx Point Siamese. They were living with a foster family who decided to keep them. Unfortunately, the single mom lost her job and they had to move in with family who had severe allergies. This is why they were returned. Serena is, definitely, the more outgoing of the two. Her coat is also a little darker and she's more petite than Venus. This girl is very energetic and has proven herself to be an expert fly catcher and huntress. Her motor begins upon contact and she'll begin to knead her front paws when getting pet and scratched. She's especially cuddly and affectionate at bed time and in the morning... and will roll over on her back for belly rubs! She also doesn't "meow" so much as vocalize with chirps and trills. Her favorite toy is her little mouse which she'll carry around in her mouth and bring to you to play fetch. Serena is very-much bonded with her twin sister, Venus, and should be adopted as a pair. You'll find her complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #25 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties"... along with updates (including videos) on ALL our cats and kittens! Serena's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making Serena a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the single mom lost her job and they had to move in with family who had severe allergies. This is why they were returned. VENUS - Stone cold chiller; loves to veg - Loves the window ledge - Also loves closets/hiding - Coyly affectionate - will meow and respond to pets, purr like crazy then run away - Does not LOVE head pets/scratches but tolerates them; more of a body pets girl - Likes belly rubs! - Does love to play (with wand) tho sister often monopolizes so she gets discouraged - Likes the foam ball/bouncing and chasing; also the small coils - Likes the mouse, too - Very food/treat-motivated - Likes running water/bathtub - Responds to “Veeny” - Likes to dip into the water bowl and lick off her paws Since Venus and Serena are such a bonded pair, we would like to keep the sisters together. You'll find her complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #25 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties"... along with updates (including videos) on ALL our cats and kittens! Story
Meet Kiwi, a sweet, affectionate, highly-social, brown striped and spotted Tabby kitten with orange tones throughout her coat and adorable white socks. This girl will run to greet you the moment you walk in the door, likely chatting along the way... and her motor begins upon contact. Houseflies won't stand a chance with this expert huntress around, either. Her favorite past times are playing with the ball track toy and chasing her sister and brother, Clementine and Tiger Melon. She's also been raised with a few other cats and gets along GREAT with them, too. Kiwi can be on the more calm, gentle side which she'll demonstrate if the others start playing too rough. She's not so much into wrestling, like the others but is very playful - just in a more delicate manner. You'll find her complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #30 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including videos and updates on ALL our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!! Kiwi's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination (if old enough), * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making Kiwi a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Story
Meet Puddin' Head, a beautiful, Brown, Striped Tabby with Bengal spots on his underside. He and his sister, Cupcake, are two of the most loving, affectionate and highly-social, young cats you'll ever meet! This boy is will run to greet you when you walk in the door... likely vocalizing with excited chirps and trills. His sister, Cupcake, is the very same. Basically, this cutie is letting you know he wants to be held and cuddled (with a motor that begins upon contact). If you don't pick him up, he's likely to hop right onto your shoulder like a parrot. If you bend over, to remove your shoes, he may hop onto your back! This boys LOVES to play and wrestle with his sister and he is FAST!! Even though he plays with complete abandon, he also will be the first to climb into your arms or lap to cuddle... even if he's just taking a quick rest - before getting back in the ring. If you're looking for PERSONALITY, Puddin' Head's got more than his fair share! I've got a couple of hours of video footage showing his fun, silly antics as well as his loving sides... some of which you'll find on our Facebook page, "Save The Leadwell Kitties". Just look for Photo Album #28 and under the Videos tab. There you'll find updates on all our cats and kittens! Puddin Head's adoption will include his: * Neuter surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination (if old enough), * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making him a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home.
