Yondu is the prototypical cat. If you asked someone to describe a cat’s personality or the things a cat would do, Yondu would possess them all. He is endlessly curious. He craves height, light spanks, pavement, and food. He tries to enter the mirror dimension daily. Once he has exhausted all the interesting places to explore in a room, he’ll meow to let you know he’s ready for the next adventure. We have photos of him in our sock drawer, kitchen cabinets, shower, and basically every empty box or paper bag in the house. Every day truly is an adventure with him. He gets along wonderfully with humans, our Golden Retriever, and other cats. Despite being male, he is extremely motherly and loves licking all the other cats clean. We’re rehoming him because our home is simply too full: 6 cats, a dog, and our first baby arriving soon. We adore him and want him to thrive in a home with more space and attention.

Rocket and his brothers came into our lives as kittens about 3 years ago after showing up in our apartment courtyard. We initially took them in as fosters, but quickly became a failed foster family. Rocket has a tough exterior, but underneath is a very sweet, affectionate cat. He loves crawling under the covers to sleep between our legs, cuddling with our big golden retriever and his brother, playing with toys and fetching sticks, chin scratches, nose boops, and basking in sunny spots. We love Rocket dearly, but unfortunately he has had ongoing conflicts with two of our other cats. One can stand his ground, but our tripod frequently has to hide in our room and avoid parts of the house because Rocket may pounce on him. After over a year, we don't feel the situation is likely to change or is fair to our other cats. Rocket is great with people and dogs and seems to do well with most cats, though he has issues with certain cats. We are looking for a loving home that he can thrive in.

She may initially hide, keep her distance, or quietly observe her new surroundings, but that does not mean she is unfriendly. Providing her with a calm space and allowing her to approach at her own pace will help her build confidence and trust. With kindness, patience, and attention, she should gradually become more comfortable and show how affectionate and lovable she can be.

Pumpkin is an extremely adorable, sweet, and well-behaved male cat who is looking for a loving new home. He has a gentle personality and is generally very easy to care for. Pumpkin can be shy and cautious when meeting someone new, so he may need a little time and patience to become comfortable in a different environment. Once he realizes that he is safe and begins to trust you, his personality starts to come out and he becomes a loving and enjoyable companion. Pumpkin would do best with someone who understands that some cats need time to adjust and is willing to let him become comfortable at his own pace. He may initially hide or keep his distance, but this is simply part of his shy nature and should not be mistaken for him being unfriendly. Giving him a quiet place to settle in, speaking gently to him, and allowing him to approach when he is ready will help him feel secure. Once that trust is established, getting to know his sweet personality is completely worth the wait.
