I want to share a bit about my experience with Nani and her sibling, Hoku, whom my mother adopted in March 2023. After my mother passed away in October 2023, I inherited the responsibility of caring for them. Losing my mother has been incredibly hard on all of us, and I've noticed that Nani has struggled deeply with the loss. She has become quite aggressive toward Hoku and my little kitten, Kirby, which has been heartbreaking to witness. Over the past two years, I tried everything I can think of to help Nani readjust. I enlisted a coach, watched countless videos, and put in so much effort to re-socialize her, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked. It truly pains me to see that both Hoku and Kirby are terrified of her. Despite this, Nani has moments of sweetness; she doesn't enjoy being carried, but she often finds her way into my lap when she needs affection. She can be loving and playful, and it breaks my heart to lose her. My goal is to find her a loving family.

Born April 10, 2018, this spirited 8-year-old gentleman tips the scales at a sleek 9 lbs and is ready to find the home he deserves. Mr. Meowgi is the whole package: playful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. He brings the energy of a kitten and the soul of a wise old cat. If you're looking for a companion who will keep you on your toes and melt your heart in equal measure, he just might be your guy. He loves to play and soak up attention on his own terms, of course. Like any cat of distinction, Mr. Meowgi appreciates affection that respects his boundaries. He'll let you know when he's in the mood for cuddles, and those moments are absolutely worth the wait. He's proven himself a gracious housemate too. He's shared a home with both a fellow feline and a yellow Labrador without any drama - making him a solid candidate for a multi-pet household.

Story
Jezebel is a beautiful, smart, affectionate, sassy, and cuddly recently 4-year-old girl. I adopted her on June 26, 2022. A friend of a friend found her as a kitten on the side of a highway in Phoenix. They couldn't keep her, so she found her way to me. Since then, she has been the sweetest gift and brightest light in my life. Unfortunately, due to her trauma from the streets, she has 2 major stressors: 1. When I leave for long trips, and 2. other animals in her space. I learned this after I adopted my second cat. She is normally very happy and peaceful, but when she's around my other cat, she gets very stressed and doesn't seem to be able to get past it. I can tell that she has been trying, but I can also see how stressful it is for her. I want her to be happy and living her best life, so, although I hate to see her go, I'm looking to find her a wonderful new home with someone who keeps a reliable routine and only wants one (adorable!) indoor pet. She's truly a gem for someone great!
