Story
Looking to re-home this sweet little girl. Her name is Harley and she is 8 years old. She gets along with other animals but is skidish around high energy animals. She was a rescue kitten who had been attacked by a dog and got her tail torn off so her tail is now docked. She is spayed and loves being loved on and has the best purr ever. She has been skidish since being attacked so loud noises scare her sometimes. She did love my dog, he was a very calm and laid back dog so as long as other animals leave her alone she'll be great! She's never been around children so not sure how she'll handle kids but I if they are gentle I'm sure she'd love it!! She loves cuddling and is one of the sweetest cat's I've known We are in a rough situation and she deserves to have a better life with someone who can give her the love, attention, and happy home she deserves!!! I'm hoping to find an Amazing family that would love to add this cute little munchkin to their family!!

These cats are in Meridian, Idaho too!

Story
Meet Gabbie, an extremely sweet and affectionate little 12-week-old girl. Gabbie has a very unique black and white tuxedo coat pattern with a striking undercoat. She has a "smoke" or what is sometimes called a "Fever Coat" undercoat that is stripes and swirl spots like a tabby. Beautiful. She is very human oriented and loves to snuggle, cuddle and be with her humans. She loves affection as much as she will give it in return with head boops, cheek rubs and very loud purrs. Gabbie does love to talk and will tell you all about her day when you initiate conversation. Come bedtime she is quick to cuddle up close and purr herself, and you, to sleep. She gets along very well with other cats as she has been fostered with multiple others and is constantly wrestling and playing with her foster siblings. Gabbie will need to go to a forever home that will keep her health in her best interest. She did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and may be potentially susceptible to getting sick from common feline colds with a compromised immune system. Cats with FIV can, and very often do, live a healthy cats full life span and can be homed with other cats that are non-FIV. Per HJC policy, and especially with her FIV, Gabbie must stay exclusively indoors to limit her exposure to potentially harmful bacteria and viruses. If you have any question about Gabbie, FIV or would like to adopt her, please complete an adoption application or give us a call.

Story
Lulu & Georgie Bonded sisters looking for a calm, patient home Lulu and Georgie are 1½-year-old bonded sisters who are incredibly sweet but very shy. They are beautiful grey tabbies with soft, smooth fur and stunning spots and stripes. Georgie is the bigger sister and the more fearful of the two. Lulu is a little smaller and more confident—when she feels safe and happy, she’ll roll over and ask for belly rubs. These girls are deeply attached to each other. They play, play-fight, snuggle, and clearly rely on one another for comfort and security. They must be adopted together. What they need to thrive: Lulu and Georgie need a patient adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to help them build confidence instead of hiding long-term. That means: Starting them in a small, quiet room Blocking hiding spots (no unders like beds, couches, or dressers) Spending calm, consistent time nearby with food, treats, and play This confidence-building approach, often recommended by Jackson Galaxy, helps fearful cats learn that people are safe. When they first arrived in their current foster home, they were so scared they would only eat Churu for a few days. They are now eating better and filling out, though they still nibble small meals, likely due to stress. With routine, patience, and stability, this should continue to improve. Lulu and Georgie are not instant lap cats, but for someone kind and committed, watching them learn to trust will be incredibly rewarding. 💛 Best suited for a calm home with a patient adopter experienced with shy or fearful cats.
