Tom was found by a resident in an apartment community I worked at. She had 2 dogs & she said he just strolled into her apartment & laid down. We put out flyers around the community & neighboring communities but no one claimed him & she could not keep him because she was already at the limit for pets. The picture she sent me was of him sitting in the sun & he coat appeared Blue which is why I named him Tom after agreeing to take care of him for her. I already had a cat and initially they got along but one day, my cat just decided he was not fond of him & I could not get them to stop fighting one another. Tom is a cuddle bug and an explorer & I have to keep them separated but I don’t have a large space or yard for them to run around freely without worrying about running into one another. He deserves a warm, loving, caring home that will allow him to explore all corners without worrying. I love him very much & am sad I have to do this but I want him to have better than what he has now.

Playful Handsome Sweet Young Kitty Macaroni aka Mac! He is so handsome with his unique coat of stripes and spots and a white spot under his neck; and he has a darker stripe all the way from his back to his tail – he looks just like a little tiger/leopard! This precious kitty was rescued after a neighbor abandoned him outside when they moved. Macaroni is however quite well adjusted and he loves attention! He just wants to be sure you love him. He will put his paws on your leg when he wants more attention but he always keeps his claws retracted so he is quite gentle. He also does not scratch when playing. He just loves getting attention and can’t seem to get enough! He is energetic and enjoys interactive games with humans! He is a great cat to have as a buddy. He would be good with older children who could play games with him! He can entertain himself, but prefers playing interactively. He also gets along with other kitties. He likes to play with the other rescue kittens but occasionally can get a little rambunctious, but he is great with an older kitten or young cat that enjoys romping playtime and is not timid. But even after playing with the kittens, Macaroni still wants to have some fun time with people! Super Affectionate Sweet Kitten Rosie - Adopt Solo or into a Household with Another Kitty or 2 Contact: dcmcats@yahoo.com Rosie aka Rose is a beautiful Tabby and white kitten with lovely markings and a bit of orangey tan colors on her arms and nose. She is confident and sweet! Rosie is also adventurous and gets curious about things. She wants to go explore the rest of the foster house. Rosie is very playful and will play solo with her wand and mouse toys, but if she hears a flying toy she jumps up and joins in the fun! Rosie is about 10 months old. She was rescued from a colony being spayed and neutered with her older cousin Jack, a Russian Blue kitten who has been adopted. This sweet baby girl is super affectionate when in her relax mode and will snuggle with her foster, She loves other cats but she can be the only kitty for someone who has can spend time with her. She would also do well in a home with another kitty or 2 to have as a friend. One of the male cats at the foster likes to wash her like his baby! Rosie hasn't been around dogs, but might be fine with a calm gentle dog. Rosie is fixed and tested, and has her shots, wormer, and flea treatments. She loves following the lead of the resident male kitties at her foster home, which has helped with her socialization process. She is very sweet and ready for her forever home to enjoy with you! Sophie was my elderly father‘s companion, but we have had to put him into long-term care over the holidays due to his health. Sophie has been staying at my dad‘s apartment, but the lease is up at the end of the month. Sophie eats dry kibble and uses her box without any problems. She can be shy at first, but wants to snuggle and talk to you when she gets to know you. She has no obvious health problems,, but has not been to the vet in the last few years that I know of. Since my dad was elderly and disabled himself, Sophie has been a completely indoor cat. We think she is about five years old I have tried unsuccessfully to find her a home and I hate that she’s at the apartment by herself. I hope that you can help.
