Sweet, sweet, sweet boy I am. My favorite hooman and I discussed and I told her it’s okay to let me pick a new home. She travels a ton and doesn’t want to leave me home alone. I love snuggles and cuddling up to you to watch you work, watch tv and even to nap. I never meet strangers and I’m living to everyone that comes up for cuddles and face scratches.

Tom was found by a resident in an apartment community I worked at. She had 2 dogs & she said he just strolled into her apartment & laid down. We put out flyers around the community & neighboring communities but no one claimed him & she could not keep him because she was already at the limit for pets. The picture she sent me was of him sitting in the sun & he coat appeared Blue which is why I named him Tom after agreeing to take care of him for her. I already had a cat and initially they got along but one day, my cat just decided he was not fond of him & I could not get them to stop fighting one another. Tom is a cuddle bug and an explorer & I have to keep them separated but I don’t have a large space or yard for them to run around freely without worrying about running into one another. He deserves a warm, loving, caring home that will allow him to explore all corners without worrying. I love him very much & am sad I have to do this but I want him to have better than what he has now.

Beautiful Sheila for Adoption Contact dcmcats@yahoo.com Beautiful Sheila spent her earlier life being a repeat mama cat, but those days are now over. The neighbors say she was turned out as a kitten. Sheila was finally rescued from her life on the streets earlier this year before the snowstorm. Sheila is now enjoying life playing with her wand toy and batting around her stuffed mouse. She has the biggest beautiful green eyes you have ever seen and a lovely brown coat with golden undertones. Sheila is a petite girl; she weighs just 8 lbs. Her voice is a tiny kitten squeak! The vet estimates she is about 3-4 years old. She can be picked up and hugged and is affectionate! She would do best in a quiet home without other animals but is slowing learning to get comfortable with other cats. She has access to the house but prefers to stay in her room where she feels secure, away from the resident cats at her rescuer’s home. She will need someone with patience at first, but she loves attention and will enjoy spending quality time with her person or people, just chilling after interactive play time. Sophie was my elderly father‘s companion, but we have had to put him into long-term care over the holidays due to his health. Sophie has been staying at my dad‘s apartment, but the lease is up at the end of the month. Sophie eats dry kibble and uses her box without any problems. She can be shy at first, but wants to snuggle and talk to you when she gets to know you. She has no obvious health problems,, but has not been to the vet in the last few years that I know of. Since my dad was elderly and disabled himself, Sophie has been a completely indoor cat. We think she is about five years old I have tried unsuccessfully to find her a home and I hate that she’s at the apartment by herself. I hope that you can help.

Captain is an easy cat. She is very flexible. We have lived in 2 places and she has adjusted well. She has 2 litter boxes- one inside and one on porch- and she is fine going between both even though they use different litter. She would be a great companion for a quiet home. She is independent as cats are but loves to sit in a lap a few times a day. She is quiet- not a howler. My son rescued this cat from PetSmart in 2018/19. She was dropped off there with an eye infection. She did lose her eye. My son was later deployed and I kept his cat during that time. When he returned he had another deployment a year later. Then my son got married. I have cat allergies and sometimes have trouble with my eyes due to cat. I have had Captain since 2018/19. She is an easy cat. She is also declawed in the front. She was a great companion during Covid. She loves being on the screened porch. I just can’t continue to deal with my allergies.
