Sweet 11lb Boy Needs a New Home (No Dogs) I’m looking for a very specific home for a cat I’ve been caring for. His story started when he was a stray I was feeding outside. Unfortunately, he got injured, so I called Animal Control to get him help. He ended up at the shelter, and I couldn't leave him there—so I went and officially adopted him. He is a big, healthy boy (about 11 lbs) and has been through a lot to get to this point. He was neutered on March 3rd and is healing perfectly. The Reality: I love this cat, but it’s just not working out with my dog. He is a very "velcro" cat—he wants to follow me everywhere and is extremely clingy. Because he wants so much attention and my dog gets stressed/scared around him, it’s not a fair environment for either of them. He really needs to be in a home with no dogs where he can be the center of the universe.

She appreciates wet food meals, lounging in cat trees and looking out the window. Leni also loves soft blankets where she'll curl up for a nap. When no one is looking, she'll play with toy mice found scattered over the house each morning. Other cats do scare this little girl, so she is looking for a human family of her own. A great cat, with soft fur. A year ago she was a stray cat. I took her in and got her used to petting. She is completely used to me now, and she can get used to you too (may require some patience). I always intended to look for another home for her, because unfortunately there are too many cats, including stray cats around, for me to take care of. She eats Friskies paté canned food (less than two cans a day) and unlike other cats she doesn't like kibble. I had her spayed and microchipped. She likes to play so I assume she is a young cat.
