Story
Biscuit – Looking for the Right Fit 🧡 Biscuit is a gentle, affectionate boy who bonds deeply with his people. He grew up in a busy family home (before we took him in) and is comfortable around children, though he is naturally shy and does best with patience and a calm environment. He is believed to be the firstborn of his litter and took on a quiet Alpha cat role. Biscuit was especially bonded to his adult brother and has done well with other adult cats, but he becomes stressed around kittens, particularly high-energy or playful ones. Because of this, he would thrive as an only cat or with one calm adult cat. Biscuit is currently unneutered, and his spraying behavior is believed to be hormone-related. With neutering and a stable home, this behavior has strong potential to improve. He is not aggressive and remains loving and affectionate. To help with his transition, Biscuit will come with his carrier and a cat tree to provide familiar scents. 🎂 Est. Birthday: March 8th or March 10th

Story
Sissy has been my beloved companion for seven years, but she is currently facing health challenges. She has lost weight and requires specialty cat food, which I can't afford right now. I’ve been out of work for over a month, but I remain hopeful about starting a new job soon. Sissy deserves a caring caretaker to support her during what may be her final days. Despite extensive veterinary tests ruling out several health issues, she still has an insatiable appetite. To keep her safe during mealtime, I've had to isolate her from the other pets, which breaks my heart. Living with my 80-year-old mother-in-law, who is easily distressed by Sissy’s antics, adds to the difficulty. Sissy is such a sweet soul, and not being home to give her the attention she needs is really hard for me..

Story
As a very small kitten on Christmas Eve he was scratching at our door. We brought him in and got him in to the vet to get neutered. He’s a really good cat but we have two older cats that he does not get along with. He wants to play and that just doesn’t happen as much as he needs.

Story
Hello I'm Michaela, I was rescued from a feral colony in September with my siblings. I enjoy hanging out with my brothers and sisters; climbing cat trees, window ledges etc. My favorite toy is the tinsel ball and laser pointer. I am spayed, have had all my vaccines; FVRCP is due in October 2028 and Rabies Fall of 2026. For worms, fleas, ticks, etc treat as needed. I am ready for my furrever family to start making memories.

Story
Meowsers is such a sweetheart and a cuddle bug. She loves to be held like a baby, even wrapping her arms around you. She loves to come up onto your lap to cuddle or even onto your chest to hear her purr! Unfortunately, she does not get along with her siblings well and it would be best if she was in a one-cat household. In the past, she has had a spraying issue due to the territorial problem with the other cats in the house but has not sprayed since starting an anxiety med which she takes happily with a treat. If you are interested or would like more details, please let me know!

Story
Spencer is my elderly parents' pet. He has been taken care of very well. He's kinda spoiled. Because of their age, my parents can no longer care for themselves independently. They will be moving out of their home into a new location and cannot take their cat. The move is at the end of January. Thank you for your consideration.

Story
Mary “J” Jane is a super sweet cat, with not one single feisty bone in her body. Mary Jane is about 11 years old (born summer time 2014) and I adopted her from the Wayne county humane society in the summer of 2016. J is a bit of an anxious cat, which is part of the reason I’m looking to rehome her, there are 4 other cats in the household and I feel she would thrive best in a calm household with zero or one other pet. Because of the stress, J has gone outside her litter box from time to time so I’m currently working with a local vet on this and as of the morning I’m typing this, she has used her litter box. Overall, Mary Jane is a great cat and has never scratched or bitten anyone, but I know she is more stressed in this environment so I’m looking to do right by her and find a calmer place for her to thrive in.
