Story
🖤 Meet Corky 🖤 Handsome? Check. Playful? Check. Ready to steal your heart? Absolutely! Corky is a 3-month-old male kitten with a sleek black coat and the most perfect little dab of white on his throat, as if someone added the finishing touch with a paintbrush. This charming little fellow is full of kitten curiosity and is eagerly waiting for a family of his very own to share in all of life's adventures. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring every corner of the room, wrestling with his siblings, or finding the perfect spot for an afternoon nap, Corky approaches each day with enthusiasm and kitten-sized confidence. He can't wait to discover all the exciting sights, sounds, and snuggles that come with a forever home. Like his siblings, Corky currently has a mild upper respiratory infection, which is simply the kitty version of a common cold. He may have a stuffy nose or watery eyes, but he's still eating, drinking, playing, and enjoying life. A loving home will help him recover much more quickly than the shelter environment, and as long as he continues to eat and drink, he should improve a little more each day. If you already have cats at home, Corky would not be contagious to cats that are up to date on their vaccinations. Corky's adoption fee is $150, which includes a $100 neuter deposit. He is started on his vaccination schedule and microchipped. Head to our website at www.mjhs.ca, click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals, and scroll to Corky's photo to submit your application. Once approved, we'll schedule a visit so you can meet this handsome little gentleman and see if he's the perfect addition to your family. 🐾❤️

Story
🍂 Hi, I'm Echo. 🍂 Sometimes the quietest hearts have the most love to give. A little while ago, I was living on the streets, trying to take care of myself. Thankfully, a very kind woman found me and brought me somewhere safe. She wasn't able to keep me forever, but she made sure I had the chance to find a family of my own. To be honest, life has changed a lot for me in a short amount of time. I'm still learning that I don't have to worry about where my next meal is coming from or where I'll sleep at night. Right now, I prefer to watch the world from the comfort of my cozy bed while I figure things out. New people and new places can be a little overwhelming, so I'll need a family that understands that trust takes time. I'm not the kind of cat who will march into your home and immediately act like I own the place. I'm more of a slow-and-steady kind of guy. Give me patience, kindness, and a quiet place to call home, and I'll show you the sweet cat hiding behind these thoughtful eyes. The best relationships are worth waiting for, and I promise that every little step forward will be worth it. My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, and started on my vaccination schedule. If you think you might be the patient family I've been waiting for, I'd love to meet you. Head to our website at www.mjhs.ca, click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals, and scroll to my photo to submit your application. Once approved, we'll schedule a visit so we can get to know each other.
