Story
Hi there, I’m Wiggles… though my friends also call me Homer. I’m around 2 years old, full of personality, and I’ve mastered the art of stealing hearts one wobble at a time.
I have something called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means I move a little differently than other cats. I wobble, stumble, and sometimes look like I’m dancing when I walk, but don’t let that fool you. I’m fast, determined, and can jump surprisingly high when I want to! I may need a few extra safety precautions like soft landings and help with stairs, but I never let my wobbles slow me down.
When I first came indoors, I was shy and unsure of the world. Now, once I feel safe, my sweet and playful side shines through. I love ear massages, chin rubs, and sometimes even belly rubs. I also love to cuddle up beside my person for naps.
Food is one of my greatest passions in life. Snacks are the quickest way to win me over, and I’m known to politely plunk my front paws up nearby in hopes of sharing a tasty bite. I also adore playtime, wand toys are amazing, and wrestling an oven mitt is one of my favourite hobbies.
I get along with some cats and can be comfortable around calm dogs who respect my space. I may need a little patience while I settle in, but once I trust you, I’m a loyal and loving companion.
What I’m really looking for is a family who sees how special I am. A safe home, lots of love, yummy snacks, and people who will cheer me on through every wobble. I’ve come a long way, and now I’m ready for my happily ever after.
