Tabby kittens & cats in Palestine, Texas

This little kitten showed up under our cabin on July 4th weekend. She was very tiny then. I tried multiple places to take her to with each one saying they were full and could not accept her. She has adjusted very well and is sweet and playful. We travel for work and have a tiny RV that makes a litter box almost impossible. I was able to keep her this long while looking for a place for her only because I was staying with a family member to care for that person instead of being in the RV. We have to leave in 2 weeks to go back on the road. We did post on Facebook too for our friends, hoping someone would be able to take her, but have had no luck. I love her already, even though I never planned on having a cat. I have some toys and a new litter box that can go with her, if needed. This is sad for me, but I am hoping she can find a good home.

Maverick was rescued as a tiny kitten from a building that had caught fire and was under construction. She’s been loved and cared for ever since. Maverick can be shy at first and may need a little time and patience to feel comfortable with someone new, but once she trusts you, she loves hard. She is incredibly cuddly, affectionate, sweet, and playful with the people she feels safe with. We’re looking for a loving, patient home that will give her the time she needs to adjust and understand that earning her trust is so worth it. Once Maverick decides you’re her person, she has so much love to give.
