Story
Mickey's mother is a feral cat and the only one in her litter. Her mother just had another litter and has left Mickey alone. I have then been able to socialize her very quickly as she is very lonesome and very much wants to be playmates with our 3 house cats that she can only interact with from the other side of the patio door. We cannot take on any more cats ourselves, otherwise I would keep her. She is very loveable, sits on my lap, loves being pet, nuzzles my neck and nose and loves kisses. She is very playful and inquisitive. She needs a home where she can be always safe indoors and be loved and played with. She was born sometime in March.

Story
Meet Daryl, a seven year old neutered male who was surrendered to the shelter a few weeks ago. Daryl was surrendered because he didn't get along with the other resident cat and children. For this reason, we think that Daryl would do best as the only cat in an adult-only home. Since he's been at the shelter, he's been as sweet as a can be to staff and we're certain that under the right home conditions, he'd be an amazing addition to a family. He's a very big boy with lots of love to give, so stop by the shelter to meet Daryl today! To meet Daryl in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. To download an application, please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.org. Please call the shelter at (715)-861-5748 with any other questions.

Story
We have a few barn cats looking for a shop, barn, or outbuilding to call home! All of our barn cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines before adoption. These cats are FERAL. They are not friendly house cats looking for cuddles. They prefer to coexist with people while helping keep rodent populations under control. CHA does not place friendly cats or kittens as barn cats. Our barn cat program is reserved for feral cats that would not thrive living indoors and deserve a safe place to call home. They will also need the commitment to provide them with as needed vet care as well as shelter in a garage or barn. We ask that all barn cats go in pairs unless your property already has barn cats. Adoption fee: waived
