Story
I took over care of Nike about 5 years ago when my brother was no longer able to care for him. The Good: He is very smart and the most affectionate dog I've ever had. He knows basic commands like sit and stay. He gives you his undivided attention at all times. He just wants to please you. He loves to play frisbee. I've watched him play with small children after he warms up to them but I wouldn't leave him unsupervised. The Bad: He has a lot of separation anxiety. For the last 5 or 6 years I've never been away from him for more than 12 hours and usually no more than 5 hours at time. The first 5 years he slept in the bed with me but I've sinced trained him to stay off the bed/couch, etc. He has spent most of his time in the house or playing outside. He doesn't know the outside world that well. He doesn't like strangers at first. He is bonded with my other dog Gracie. He is reactive to strangers. Was not exposed to many people or dogs.
