Story
Finn was given up by a family that simply didn't want him anymore, so on to better things! He is around 12-18 months old, still has a bit of puppy mischief but all in all, is a mellow boy who prefers cuddles to playtime. He is fine with the 2 other similar sized dogs in his foster home but seems like he'd also be content as your one and only. He gets nervous with fast movements so young kids are probably not the best fit. Finn weighs 17 lbs. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

Story
❤️ Meet Red: The Brave Boy Ready for a Fresh Start ❤️ Sometimes, a dog’s journey includes a few chapters they never deserved to read. Red is a resilient, one-and-a-half-year-old soul who is officially ready to close the book on a difficult past and start his "happily ever after." Red came to us as an owner surrender with a heavy heart. Red was repeatedly tormented while he was in his crate by children who would poke at him with sticks, etc. Because of this, a crate is not recommended. He does not need a crate however as he does not tear anything up and he seems to be somewhat potty trained. Having lived in an environment where he was mistreated by children, he arrived at the rescue full of fear, unsure of who to trust. But over the last several months, we have watched a beautiful transformation. Red has proven that with patience and kindness, a heart can heal. Why You’ll Fall in Love with Red: • The Perfect Balance: Red is the ultimate companion. He has a wonderful blend of independence and affection; he will happily seek out your love and snuggles, but he is confident enough to be okay on his own without separation anxiety. • Social Butterfly: He gets along amazingly well with other dogs! He loves to play and would thrive with a furry sibling to show him the ropes. • A Unique Look: Red has a slight cherry eye. It doesn't bother him one bit, and it certainly doesn't affect his vision—he sees the world (and his toys!) perfectly fine. • A Total Sweetheart: Once he knows he’s safe, his "super sweet" personality truly shines. He is a gentle boy who just wants to be cherished. Red’s Ideal Home: Because of his history, Red is looking for a calm, predictable environment where he can feel secure. We are seeking a home with no children or older teenagers only. He deserves a family that understands his need for a "safe space" and will give him the quiet, loving life he’s been dreaming of. Red has worked so hard to find his spark again, and he is so deserving of a family that will never let him down. We promise—once you meet this brave boy, you will absolutely fall in love. Ready to give Red the home he deserves? 🐾 Apply today: www.raisethebarnrescue.org
