Petunia is a playful little firecracker. She’s always ready to run, play, and sprinkle in sweet kisses along the way. Home Life Highlights Both are crate trained and happily walk into their crates at bedtime They prefer separate crates (we suspect Toby hogs the covers) Love playing in the yard and soaking up fresh air A secure fenced yard is a must Important Toby Notes : Toby has proven himself to be a bit of an escape artist. A solid, secure fence is required—no gaps he can squeeze through. If you have a slatted fence, Toby will need to be placed on a long runner lead for safety. He may try to mark at first while learning your routine, so a belly band is recommended during the adjustment period. With positive reinforcement and regular potty breaks, this typically resolves as he settles in. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats befor e adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.
