Story
Fluffy is a great pup. She needs a lot of love and attention. I have a new job now that requires me to be gone for 3 days at a time or 13 hours at a time so she’s all alone at home and she’s sad. She’s a great pup. Never violent but she does protect and alert you. She likes to play sometimes and go on walks but she stays up under you she’s really clingy and affectionate. Need loving home.asking price is 150-300 but I will negotiate because I love her and just want the best.

Story
Sammy's life wasn't the greatest when he arrived in the rescue. At only 2 years old he is a retired puppy mill dog. He currently weights about 20 lbs. His life was spent living in a kennel pumping out puppies for the mill owner. When he was no longer needed, he was discarded. We pulled him into the rescue to start him on a brand-new life! According to his foster he "lives life on his terms". He will require another doggy friend or two in his new home to help him succeed with living in a real "home" . He does seem to prefer men over women. Sammy will require a fully fenced yard (more than 4' tall) to keep him safe as he will escape if given the opportunity! He has typical puppy mill behavior - not too sure of strangers at first - is mostly afraid of everything new. He is good on a leash, does not like a crate, and has very few/rare potty accidents! He does not live with children and being a mill dog it would be best with no children in the home. He does live with cats, dogs and farm animals and does very well with them. Patience is the key to Sammy's world...If you feel you have that and would love to give this very deserving pup a new chance in life, please follow the link below for his adoption application. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $350.00 **Please note: applicants must live with 60 minutes of Toledo, Ohio http://www.dogworksohio.com/adoption-application.html

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Petunia & Toby – A Perfectly Matched Pair Ready for Their Best Life Petunia and Toby are a bonded pair who are finally getting the life they always deserved. Previously used for breeding (and never again), both are now fixed, and ready to enjoy the very best parts of being loved family dogs. And oh… they are easy to love.  Toby is a world-class snuggler. He wants to be with his human—on your lap, beside you on the couch, tucked into the crook of your arm. He’s gentle, affectionate, and absolutely devoted. If love were a sport, Toby would win gold.  Petunia is a playful little firecracker. She’s always ready to run, play, and sprinkle in sweet kisses along the way. She brings the fun, the energy, and the joy—balanced perfectly with her loving nature. Together, they’re the kind of duo that just works.  Home Life Highlights Both are crate trained and happily walk into their crates at bedtime They prefer separate crates (we suspect Toby hogs the covers) Love playing in the yard and soaking up fresh air A secure fenced yard is a must  Important Toby Notes : Toby has proven himself to be a bit of an escape artist. A solid, secure fence is required—no gaps he can squeeze through. If you have a slatted fence, Toby will need to be placed on a long runner lead for safety. He may try to mark at first while learning your routine, so a belly band is recommended during the adjustment period. With positive reinforcement and regular potty breaks, this typically resolves as he settles in.  What They’re Looking For A home ready to give: Love (lots of it) Snuggles Treats Patience during the transition And a commitment to keeping them safe and cherished Petunia & Toby are a sweet, joyful pair ready to give their whole hearts—and they deserve a home that will do the same. If you’re looking for double the love, double the personality, and a lifetime of companionship, these two are waiting for you.    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats befor e adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet the Quartet of Cuteness!   Big Mac aka Max, Bella, Nala, and Olaf are all Bichon Frise / Maltese mixes.  They may be a mom, dad and two offspring but we aren't certain.  What we do know is they all came from the same home.  Their owner died and the family was unable to keep them.  Each one has a distinct personality:  Bella is described as an 'attention hog', while Nala is more laid back and will not seek attention, but if you are willing to give it she will happily accept it.  Big Mac aka Max seems more outgoing than Olaf, who prefers at this point to 'observe' his world.  All are said to be good with other dogs and children. All will need time to adjust to a new home and routine.  Even though they are said to be good with other dogs and children, they have only lived together, so all will need slow and proper introductions to children and other dogs.  We don't know how they are with cats.  They all need basic training, including potty training.  Vet appointments for needed vaccines and spay/neuter are being done soon.  Because of their breed, each will require ongoing grooming, an additional cost to consider. We know these littles won't be with us for long so if interested in adopting any of them please apply soon.     Happy Days Dog & Cat Rescue requires a Spay/Neuter Contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization at the time of adoption. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. HDDCR holds a deposit [$50 for dogs, $25 for cats] in addition to the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog or cat was spayed/neutered by the date stipulated on the Spay/Neuter Contract. The deposit will be refunded to the adopter if spay/neuter was done according to the Spay/Neuter Contract signed by the adopter. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost.
