BONDED PAIR WITH LUTHER (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/37838939-cincinnati-ohio-labrador-retriever-mix). Lenny is a very sweet "gentle giant" who loves a good lean to show you he loves you. We love our Lenny so much, but since we had our 2 kids we have not been able to give our pups the attention they deserve. Lenny is a big guy and is slightly blind, so walks slowly and takes a while to get the lay of the land. He's a big couch potato otherwise, and loves to get pets and snuggles. Lenny is great with other dogs and kids, but does tend to be shy with other dogs and given we adopted him from SPCA, has some anxiety before he feels comfortable. Because he is shyer and more timid, we'd love to keep Lenny with his older brother, Luther (also listed on adoptapet), so please consider if you can take both pups home to a loving home!

Story
Meet Mudge! Momma Mudge is a 5 year old, 85 pound Mastiff Mix. "Mudgey" came into rescue super pregnant and gave birth just hours after entering her foster home. She had a very long and difficult birth, but ended up successfully raising three adorable puppies! Those puppies were all adopted into their forever homes and now it's Mudge's turn! Mudge is a very relaxed girl, perfectly content to snooze on the couch or sunbathe outside. While she likes to take walks, she does pull her leash quite a bit, so she will need some additional training with her forever home to become her best self on a stroll. Mudge's ideal home would have a fenced in yard for her to explore and sunbathe in! Mudge does great in her crate and will go in there on command. She sleeps in her crate at night without making a peep! Mudge has had minimal bathroom accidents while in her foster home. Mudge is fostered with other dogs, cats and kids. Mudge has been fantastic with all humans in her foster home - she especially loves her 7 and 11 year old human foster siblings. She is a great shadow with her people, following them around from room to room to make sure no one is doing anything too exciting that she may need to involve herself in! Mudge does well with the foster dogs in her home that are more calm and relaxed. She can get a little cranky with her younger, more energetic canine friends get in her face or in her space and will warn them to back off. Ideally, Mudgey would share a home with another older, relaxed dog that is happy to co-exist, or have a forever home all to herself. She has met two kittens while in foster care and is very interested in figuring out just what the heck those little creatures are! Mudge has been through it, but through it all, she has been resilient and sweet. She is so ready to find her forever home and live her best days - just as she deserves! If Mudge seems like a good fit for your family - apply today! Mudge's adoption fee is $275. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Honey, Honey is a very sweet girl who would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone willing to help her build confidence and reach the wonderful potential she clearly has. Due to her past, Honey is skittish and is frightened by quick movements, but she has shown no signs of aggression. She allows nail trims without issue. I have 4 indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat. Honey pays no attention to the indoor cats. The outdoor cat has interacted playfully with her, allowing Honey to chase her and then chasing Honey in return. Honey will alert when she needs to go outside. Okay with small dogs: My sister brought her small, high-energy dog to visit. She knows sit, lay, bed, and paw.
