Story
I’m looking for another home to adopt my sweet Daisy Mae. Living conditions are changing, and I cannot currently keep her at the house I am at. My heart is absolutely breaking writing this post as it’s the absolute last thing I ever wanted to do, but I have absolutely no other choice. Daisy Mae is a beautiful chocolate great dane, and has some quirks that do need to be held into account for her new home. She is house broken and crate trained. I’d prefer her to go to a house that has a fenced in yard to stretch her legs out in. She is great on a leash. She does counter surf and rarely jumps, especially if excited, but that’s about it.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi there! I'm Gunner. I'm an 10-month-old pup weighing about 60 pounds, and I'm looking for a family who appreciates a dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I've been told I'm quite the conversationalist. Now, don't worry—I'm not a nonstop barker. I just like to share my thoughts. If you're talking, I'll probably have something to say about it. If dinner is running late, expect a few comments. If we're headed out on an adventure, you'll definitely hear my excitement. Some people call it sass; I call it excellent communication skills. When I'm not busy chatting, you'll probably find me in the water. I absolutely LOVE to swim, splash, and play. A pond, pool, creek, lake, sprinkler—if it's wet, I'm interested. Water is my happy place, and I'd love a family who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as I do. I'm a sweet, social guy who enjoys making new friends and being part of the action. At 60 pounds, I'm a sturdy pup, but I'm still young and excited to learn new things. Whether we're exploring the great outdoors, going for a walk, or relaxing at home, I'll be right by your side—offering companionship, loyalty, and the occasional opinion. If you're looking for a friendly, water-loving best friend who will keep you laughing and always be ready for the next adventure, I might be the perfect match. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Gunner

Name:  Lucy Age: 2 years Weight: 95 lbs Adoption Fee: $350.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes, but she can be a little pushy so a mellow dog would be okay   Good with cats?  Yes   Good with kids?  Yes, but due to her size she needs a home with kids who are at least 5 years old and used to being around dogs    Lucy was surrendered to a shelter when her owners were no longer able to care for her   She was very thin and had a serious case of happy tail (tail damaged from hitting it on things and it wouldn’t heal).   She is now a healthy weight, has a nub tail and we did a Gastropexy (stomach tacking) when she was spayed).  We were told she has a chicken allergy so she’s been eating lamb and rice food, with no issues.     She has no idea how big she so her goal in life is to be a lap dog.   Lucy is sweet and loves being the center of attention.     Don’t wait!  Get your application in now for this amazing dog.  Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, micro chipped and had gastropexy surgery.   Her adoption fee is $350.00.     Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          March 16, 2026, 12:18 am

Story
Smokey is a purebred male Great Dane. He is a fun loving dog that doesn’t know his own weight. Smokey loves to be active and around kids and other dogs. Unfortunately we aren’t able to keep him because we have a 1 year old at home and we are expecting again. Smokey needs a yard and someone to play with. He loves to go on walks and he loves to snuggle with you. He is an all around amazing dog and you would be making the right choice adopting him. His crate, bed, toys, dog bowl and water bowl, leashes and collars, and dog food are all included. Along with his papers.

I was turned over to the Darke County Animal Shelter when my owner got a new job and his daughter and her baby moved into our home leaving no room for me. Please do NOT call the rescue asking questions about dogs marked not ready for adoption, these phone calls will not be returned. We do not place puppies in homes with small children. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet HollyBerry ✨🍓 4 years old | 65 lbs | Certified Goofball | Professional Best Friend If joy had a mascot, it would be HollyBerry — and she would be sprinting toward you at full speed with a toy in her mouth and zero personal space boundaries. 😄 💖 THE GOOD STUFF (aka: Why You’ll Fall in Love Instantly) ✅ Sweet as pie (like… the kind your grandma brags about) ✅ Professional goofball — laughs guaranteed ✅ Endless energy — always ready for an adventure ✅ Elite-level cuddler — snuggles are her superpower ✅ Social butterfly — LOVES people ✅ Confidence: 100/10 ✅ Eager to please — truly wants to be a good girl ✅ Fetch champion — seriously, she lives for it 😅 THE “LET’S BE HONEST” SECTION ❌ Thinks chain-link fences are more of a suggestion than a rule ❌ Can have a little too much fabulousness for some dogs ❌ Too big + enthusiastic for small kids and cats ❌ Likes to gently hold your hand… with her mouth (it’s weirdly sweet, we promise) 🐾 THE HEARTBEAT BEHIND THE GOOBER Holly’s story is one of second chances and big hope. Over a year ago, she was just moments away from being euthanized in a rural Texas shelter. She was saved in the nick of time and moved to what was supposed to be a temporary outdoor setup. But temporary turned into a long wait. And Holly? She’s still waiting. Despite it all, she is overflowing with love. She adores people, lives for affection, and will happily melt into you for belly rubs. She’s smart, playful, eager to learn, and wants nothing more than to belong to someone. Fetch is her jam. Cuddles are her currency. Love is her whole personality. She dreams of: 🏡 A secure, tall-fenced yard 🛋️ A couch (or your lap… or both) 💛 A human who chooses her forever Holly isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees her big heart, her goofy grin, and her unstoppable love, and says “You’re mine.” ✨ If you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, and a dog who will adore you with her entire soul, HollyBerry is waiting. Apply now at haydudeequine.org and give this girl the happy ending she’s been dreaming of. 💖
