This happy little guy seems to wake up every morning convinced it's going to be the best day ever. By the time you've spent five minutes with him, you'll probably feel the same way. Between his floppy ears that bounce with every happy trot, his goofy puppy antics, and his excitement over absolutely everything, Flame has a way of making even ordinary days feel a little brighter. He lives in a loving foster home with kids and other dogs and he really is a wonderful puppy ready to join your family! His foster family is guessing part Dane because of his long legs, big feet, and goofy demeanor. Whatever breeds came together to create this handsome boy, they gave him the sweetest personality, the cutest floppy ears, and the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and laid-back cuddles. Flame is everything you'd hope for in a puppy. He's friendly, social, curious, and always excited to make a new friend. He approaches life with so much enthusiasm that it's hard not to smile watching him explore the world around him. Whether he's trotting around with one of his favorite toys, investigating something new, or simply soaking up all the attention he can get, Flame is happiest when he's included in the fun. Speaking of toys... this boy loves them! He enjoys chasing after toys, proudly carrying them around, and playing a good game of tug-of-war. He's still working on the whole "bring it back" part of fetch, but he certainly has the chasing part mastered. Once playtime is over, though, Flame is more than happy to settle down for some affection. He's a sweet, loving puppy who enjoys being close to his people and has a wonderful off-switch after he's gotten his puppy energy out. Flame is currently fostered in a home with two precious little girls and other dogs, and he's fitting right in. In fact, one of his favorite places to be is snuggled up in the girls' arms, soaking up all the love and attention they have to give. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him a joy to have around, and he loves being part of whatever his family is doing. He's already crate trained and generally does very well in his kennel. Potty training has also been off to a great start, and he's been learning where the appropriate potty places are. Like any young puppy, he'll likely need a little reminder once he arrives in a brand-new environment, but with consistency, patience, and routine, we expect him to continue making great progress. Flame is also a smart little guy who already knows how to sit and takes treats so gently from your hand. He's eager to learn, loves his treats, and has all the makings of a puppy who will enjoy continuing his training with his forever family. Like all puppies, Flame will need continued socialization, training, and guidance as he grows into adulthood. The time and love you invest in him now will help shape him into the incredible companion he's already well on his way to becoming. Bear Your Main Man is 110 pounds of handsome, and he takes up a very satisfying amount of space beside his person. He’s loving, enjoys being sweet-talked, and is happy to keep you company while you go about your day. His size certainly makes an impression, but the affection is what will have you making room for him at home. And possibly shopping for a bigger dog bed. He’s gorgeous, substantial, and a surprisingly low-key for a dog who has such a presence. At home, Bear is happy to putz around with you. Going into the kitchen? He might come along. Settling in for a quiet evening? Wonderful. He’ll find a spot to stretch out and become a very large rug. Being near his person and having somewhere comfortable to lounge suits him perfectly. Bear seems especially drawn to women, men are welcome but can you blame a big boy for having heart for a lady? Of course not! For a woman who loves big dogs, his devoted company and impressive presence is a lovely combination. He’s easy to picture beside you during a quiet evening, close enough for an occasional head rub while you unwind. He’s also a wonderful car companion. Bear generally hops right in and settles nicely in the back seat, ready to enjoy the ride. After a longer walk, a little sweet talk may help him decide to make the hop but its no trouble at all despite his size. And if there’s a chance to catch a breeze through an open window, he will be extra pleased to tag along on whatever adventure you choose. Walks with Bear are enjoyable, too. He has a great pace and walks nicely on leash. Squirrels can catch his attention, but he responds well to guidance. At 110 pounds, he’ll need a confident handler who is comfortable managing a large dog and can help him keep his enthusiasm about those pesky squirells in check. Bear knows sit, shake, and down, and he takes his treat payments gently. He also loves the water, so a chance to splash around would be a lovely addition to his otherwise fairly chill and leisurely agenda. If you ask Bear what his dream match would be we are sure he would say - a home where he is the only dog so he can enjoy his people all to himself. That does not mean dogs are not welcome but Bear doesn't need them to be happy. One of his current doggie friends is an easygoing female dog who understands all he wants is peaceful companionship and will pass on wrestling or chasing. Good company on a walk, a handsome passenger in the car, and a big, loving presence at home—Bear is ready to be your main man. Flora is only seven months old, but there is already something wonderfully calm and thoughtful about her. She is gentle with little kids, respectful with cats, sweet with other dogs and perfectly content entertaining herself with a toy in the grass. Everyone who meets Flora seems to fall in love with her soft, easygoing presence. Go watch Flora on YouTube to see her sweet personality in action and find out exactly what her DNA test revealed. Her foster was as curious as we were and sent off a DNA test! Lucky you, there is no 6 week wait time and the results show that she is a Rottweiler and Great Dane mix. She is still growing and will likely become a fairly large dog, but so far, she carries herself with a gentleness and maturity that feel well beyond her six months. Flora is fostered in a busy, loving home with dogs and cats. Most of the resident dogs are older and not particularly interested in keeping a puppy entertained all day, but Flora handles that beautifully. She will happily carry a toy or chewy bone outside, settle into the grass, putter around sniffing and enjoy her own company. She does not need another dog to be happy, though she does enjoy friendly, lighthearted dogs that like to play without being overly rough. Flora currently lives with small dogs and thrives with them. She is also genuinely wonderful with cats. Flora lives with them and remained calm and respectful when she met our house cat, even while he ran, jumped, played and attempted to stalk her. She was unfazed and showed no interest in chasing or bothering him. Flora has spent time with children ranging from two to 15 years old and has been wonderful with them. She is still a growing puppy and may occasionally jump when excited, but she has shown impressive mindfulness and gentleness around smaller children. At home, Flora has been an incredibly easy addition. She is both house and crate trained, has basic leash skills and responds well to direction. She is highly treat motivated, intelligent and eager to learn. Her best match will be someone excited to continue her training, building her confidence and give that thoughtful puppy brain plenty of positive things to do. Flora’s foster truly has nothing but praise for her. She is sweet, content, beautifully gentle and already such a lovely companion. She could live in a house or apartment as long as her family is prepared for her eventual size and committed to giving this intelligent girl the continued training, socialization and reassurance she needs to keep growing into her very best self.
