✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Update Account: @imbo_family_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy a bit with new people. As a result of consistent training, he has become much less wary, even taking treats and sniffing people he has never seen before. Now, he knows how to be affectionate not only with his foster family but also with visitors who come to the house. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. Showed some defensive nipping to sudden approaches in the past but has improved a lot after meeting more dogs. * With Cats: Waits gently when seeing cats. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home and rests! When left alone with strangers, he either approaches them and barks at or sniffs them. When with his foster parent’s mother and another stranger, he growls and is wary of the stranger if they approach the mother. He’s being trained and corrected when his foster parent is with him. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. * Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro. * Walks: Loves walks and matches his pace to yours! Doesn’t get surprised by motorcycles or the sounds of cars. He looks around and is relaxed on walks. * Biting: Barks and may show defensive biting when strangers who visit the home or strangers on walks suddenly reach out their hands to him. Doesn’t like his territory being intruded upon and sometimes nips in such situations. Is getting constant training to fix it. * Barking: If another person runs in Binnie’s direction from afar, he sometimes barks defensively. * Likes: Likes playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. * Dislikes: Is sensitive around his belly, so it is recommended to pet the area softly. Is scared of staircases in buildings and is currently being trained slowly with treats. For now, he’s still being carried when he has to climb the steps. * Tricks: Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.'

Story
Greetings. I am MITZI and here is a little info about me:Breed: Prague Rat TerrierAge: 5 yrsGender: FemaleWeight: 30 lbsHeight: 18 inCountry of origin: Rep of GeorgiaHighlights: Funny, energetic, eager to please, vigilant, smart, insecure, territorial, devoted, fear-reactive, shy Imagine a vigilant terrier mix with a famous smile, that's me!I'm ready to trade my 'shelter-founding' legacy for a warm spot on your lap! Due to instability for rescue teams, I have an urgent need to reach a safe, forever home as soon as possible. My journey actually kicked off an entire rescue organization! Found near the beach after likely being separated from tourists, life took a scary turn when a car hit me.Immediate vet care saved my injured leg, and even though no owner ever came forward, becoming the inaugural saved dog of the shelter was a proud moment. While that leg is now perfectly healed and health is at its epitome, there’s an urgent need to find a stable forever home as soon as possible. Being a true terrier means staying alert and sharp; rest assured, no mouse will ever be a problem with me around!Beyond my protective nature, I’m known for a pretty funny personality and the most adorable smile, especially when interesting snacks like eggs, cheese, or chicken are involved. While smart and eager to please, a few quirks remain from my past.Being a bit shy and insecure can lead to "yappy" barking when strangers enter my person's room, but gaining confidence in a loving home should help that fade away. Oh, and since getting cold happens easily, being tucked under a cozy cover is my idea of heaven! A patient family willing to help overcome small hurdles will be rewarded with the most devoted lifelong companion.Loving toys, snacks, and warm blankets is a must! Since big dogs and sudden movements can be a bit scary, a home that offers a sense of security will allow my true, funny self to shine. Energy Level:  Moderate to HighI get along with:Dogs: YesCats: UnsureKids: Unsure, rescuer states likely, but no video proof Fears: Big dogs, leashes, sudden movements. Please be patient with me during my transition.Training:Leash training: No. Please be prepared to help slowly train me.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:Perfectly healed leg, I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $750.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2589536##

Stop scrolling, you found me! My name is TRIXI and here is a little info about me:Breed: Chihuahua mixAge: 10 yrsGender: FemaleWeight: 10 lbsHeight: 11 inchesCountry of origin: USA, New MexicoHighlights: Easy-going, charming, snuggler, guard-dog, happy I have an extra-large personality for such a tiny dog, and trust me—my constantly wagging tail proves I am a happy girl!My whole world was turned upside down when my person was found dead and their family could not keep me. My cat sibling and I were surrendered to the shelter. While there, I contracted Coccidia, but I have been treated and the issue is completely resolved. As a truly easy-going senior, I am a total couch potato! Hanging out with my people to snuggle is a favorite pastime, and I burrow deep under the covers when I sleep. Though a snuggler, I have a bit of a guard-dog spirit too: I will bark when strangers come to the house. Showing my charming side, I especially love the women I meet and do very well with my foster dog siblings, large and small. It seems like I may have been an inside dog using a potty pad. So your patience teaching me about going out is appreciated. I do have a heart murmur that is managed with medication. You can hide my pills in a little piece of Vienna sausage—it works every time! My rescuers will be having dental work done soon, as I likely need some extractions. Update to come.If I could find a calm home that needs a dedicated lap warmer, who will fiercely (and loudly) love their family (from the safety of the couch), I will be in heaven.
