Hi, I’m Dodie and I’d love to tell you a bit about myself! Breed: Chihuahua / Spitz mixAge: 7 years oldGender: FemaleWeight: 30lbs / 13.5kgHeight: 40cm / 16inCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlights: Tripawd, zesty, cuddly, grateful for life, loyal companion You'll find me to be an incredibly sweet-natured dog.  I've been told my face is adorable, and I can make humans laugh with my little pig-like snorts when I stretch.  As a Chihuahua/Spitz mix, I'm a fiery little spark, eager to enjoy life and not let my physical handicap hold me back!   It's unknown what originally happened to me, but while living in the Middle East, I suffered an injury that broke my back and left my hind legs paralyzed.  Since coming to Canada, I have been fortunate enough to have been fitted with an awesome wheelchair that I LOVE!  I'm able to zip around in my wheels and I'm a great walking companion.  Besides my wheels, my two main ways of moving around, (and I must say I'm pretty darn good at it!) are either dragging on my side/hip or pulling myself forwards in a sort of "hopping" motion with my legs behind me. I can get some serious speed this way! I like having some rugs to walk on as it can be hard to get a grip on slippy floors. My foster mom typically takes me out for two 30-minute walks every day, and I like to take my time sniffing the flowers, watching the birds fly overhead, and checking out if there are any humans willing to pet me.  People seem to be amazed by me-- my legs may be a bit different, but my spirit definitely isn't!  Sometimes I get a bit distracted, and with a little encouragement I merrily continue along on our walk.  I love playing with other dogs at the dog park and happily greet them while out in the neighbourhood, but I prefer to be the only canine with my human(s) at home. I tend to ignore cats as long as they don`t bother me. It's fun to play with kids who are aware of my special abilities and understand how to give me time and space to react.  When treated with compassion, I'll shower you with lots of love and happily soak up all the adoration. It would be nice (but not essential) if I had a yard, or at least some safe space/grass, for me to maneuver outside without my wheelchair. I can eliminate independently when in motion, and I'd love to have access to a safe space to roam. My foster mom currently lets me outside frequently during the day to avoid indoor accidents, and I am getting much better at letting her know when I need to go. Energy Level: low/moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yes, unbothered, *need pics/videosKids: yes *need pics/videos Fears: None observed. Hello there! My name is Cooper, and here is a little info about me: Breed: Chihuahua Pomeranian mixAge: 3 years oldGender: MaleWeight: 8 lbsHeight: 23 cm (ground to shoulder)Country of Origin: Middle East Highlight(s): A tiny survivor with a heart full of love! A little about me:I may be small, but I have the biggest heart! I'm a sweet, gentle boy who loves cuddles, playtime, and making new friends—whether they have two legs or four! My journey hasn’t been easy. I was found all alone on the streets of the Middle East—scared, hungry, and unsure if I’d make it another day. It’s truly a miracle that I survived, considering how tiny I am! But despite everything, I never lost my gentle spirit or my love for people. Now, I’m safe in a shelter, waiting for my second chance at life. I dream of a warm home, a soft bed, and a family who will love me forever. Could that be you? I’m a little bundle of love with a sweet, affectionate, and playful personality. I enjoy playing with other dogs but also know how to relax and snuggle. I’m friendly with everyone—dogs, cats, and people of all ages! My moderate energy level makes me a great companion for both playtime and quiet cuddles. I’m looking for a loving family who will cherish me forever. Whether you have other pets or not, I’ll fit right in! I’d love a home where I can get plenty of affection, regular walks, and, of course, lots of snuggles. Could you be my forever family? I may be tiny, but my love is endless. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion, I’d love to meet you! Energy Level: Moderate I Get Along With:Dogs: Yes! I love doggy friends.Cats: unknownKids: Yes, I love people of all ages. Fears: None observed, but please be patient as I adjust to my new home. Training: I’m already house-trained and leash-trained! Leash skills: yes, But please continue to guide me in my new home.House trained: Yes But please continue to guide me in my new home. Health Notes:I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.  While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2307931##

Mr Bear is a sweet and shy boy who needs a quiet home with a loving person who can help him transition to the world outside the ranch. A fenced yard is needed because Mr Bear is scared of walking on a leash. Lots of practice is needed in a secure yard first. Mr Bear loves home made food and treats, squeaky stuffies, sleeping under the covers, and loves affection. Mr Bear is approx 8-9 yrs old. Story
Meet Toto! He is a little shy and a sweet boy who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from the foster mom : Toto loves doggie friends, but he is a bit shy. He wags his tail cheerfully and waits for other dogs to come to him first. Toto hasn't met any cat friends yet, so we don't know how he would react to them. Toto loves kids and is very comfortable around them. He seems to be more comfortable with female adults than with males. He gets scared by sudden, big movements or loud noises, so please give him some time to adjust to a new environment, especially at the beginning. :) He is good at bathing and brushing, but he is afraid of the dryer, so his foster mom is trying to help him feel more comfortable with it. He has great manners on his walks, though he sometimes gets scared by loud noises or shadows, so please make sure he is on a leash and be cautious during walks. He only does his business outside. He is not a big barker, but he sometimes barks when he hears noises from outside. He hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety, and he doesn’t feel carsick during drives. He wasn't specifically kennel trained, but he goes into his kennel when he is told to. He is a smart boy. ;) He hasn't shown any aggressive behavior, but he sometimes nibbles when he gets scared or startled, so please don’t scare him suddenly. Toto is a sweet boy who will shine with some time in a new family. Would you be this sweet boy's loving family? :D Allergy/health issues: Toto's foster mom said that he might have an allergy to salmon. Toto had a heartworm issue when he was rescued, but he is all cured now, and he's been given heartworm and flea/tick prevention medication every month since then. He does not have any health issues at present. *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.

Hello, My name is Chitos and here is some info you should know about me: Breed: PomeranianAge: 3 yearsGender: MaleHeight: 11 inchWeight: 7 lbs   Highlights: very friendly, calm, cuddly, loyal, loving  Hi, I’m Chitos!I may be small, but my heart is huge, and I have so much love to give! Life started out sweet—I was adopted as a tiny pup and showered with love. But when I was just a year old, my family moved away and left me behind. I was heartbroken, confused, and didn’t understand why they didn’t take me with them. Thankfully, a kind lady took me in, and for the past two years, I’ve been safe, loved, and well cared for. But now, I’m ready to find my true forever family—the one that will never leave me behind! Here’s what you should know about me:• I love everyone! Humans of all sizes, dogs, and even cats—I get along with them all!• I’m playful and love my walks. The park is my happy place!• I’m house-trained and walk like a gentleman on a leash.• I’m a foodie! I’ll never say no to snacks, so my new family will have to help me keep my waistline in check!• I’m super smart and love learning new tricks—especially when treats are involved! Go figure! I have a kind heart, a gentle soul, and a lot of love to give.  I have never displayed any signs of aggression or resource guarding. I’ve been patiently waiting for a family who will cherish me forever. However, please be paitient and prepare to assist me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: I have been nutered, vaccinated, and microchipped  Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $300. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Thank you for your understanding. Hello, My name is Pompom and here is some info you should know about me: Breed: PomeranianAge: 1.5 yearsGender: FemaleHeight: 9 inchWeight: 6 lbs   Highlights: very friendly, calm, cuddly, loyal, loving  I’m a 1.5-year-old Pomeranian mix with a soft coat, a softer heart, and a big dream: to be loved forever. Not too long ago, I had a family. I thought they were my forever—but one day, they decided that they were too busy for me, and just like that, I found myself at the shelter. I waited and waited, hoping they’d come back… but they never did. I’m still not sure why.  Even though my heart hurts sometimes, I haven’t let it change who I am. I’m gentle, kind, and I get along with everyone—dogs, cats, and especially people. I love going for walks, sniffing every new smell, and making friends wherever I go. The humans here say I’m sweet as can be and never show a hint of aggression. I don’t guard my food or toys—I just want to share love. The shelter has been kind, and I’ve made some wonderful friends… but at night, when the lights go out, I dream of a home of my own. A cozy bed. A pile of squeaky toys. A human (or two!) who loves me unconditionally—even on their busiest days. I know my forever family is out there. Health notes: I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped  Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2363380##
