***OPIE IS LOCATED AROUND ATHOL IN A FOSTER HOME AND AVAILABLE FOR A MEET AND GREET WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION*** WE CAN TRANSPORT HIM DOWN TO MARYLAND FROM NH/VT AREA FOR AN APPROVED ADOPTER ****
Meet your new best friend Opie.
You may not know this, but OPIE is actually an acronym. It stands for Outstanding Puppy Is Excited… to find his forever home!
At 7 months old and 19 pounds this mixed breed pup is growing into the PERFECT size and personality to easily fit into any home!
Opie is wonderful with other dogs, cats and kids.
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, he’s more than qualified for the job. His professional resume includes a long list of applicable skills such as expert cuddler, dedicated shadow, treat enthusiast and world class people watcher.
He’s loyal, gentle and happy to always be by your side. His foster thinks he’ll be a great companion for a child to grow up beside. He is VERY smart.
This intelligent and highly observant pup already shows signs of being a great watchdog. Nothing gets by him.
Human sneaking a midnight snack? Busted. (Share, please!)
Amazon delivering packages? Consider yourself notified.
Squirrel? Not in my yard.
But don’t worry, this security system comes equipped with a wagging tail and a friendly little face.
He’s currently working on housebreaking and already understands “do you want to go outside?” (Current foster does not have a yard, but with a yard he knows outside well and follows the other dogs)
Did we mention he’s never even been issued a single speeding ticket?!?
If you’re looking for a loyal companion, cuddle bug, law abiding citizen and slightly nosy but totally lovable best friend, Congratulations! You just found him.
Opie is neutered, current on all age-appropriate vaccinations, current on dewormer, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention and has received a negative fecal and a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. He came from Texas, so his adoption fee includes the transport from Texas to the North.
