This is a timid dog. She usually attaches to just one person, but she adjusts well. She is good with other dogs and has been raised with cats. She loves to be in your face and will always be right by your side. She loves to sleep in the bed with you. Currently she sleeps on her own pillow at the head of the bed, usually above my head. She doesn't do well on a leash. She pulls. She loves to run. She knows the basic commands, Sit, high five, up (stands on hind legs). She always comes when called. She's still not 100% house broke, but she is kennel trained. She also uses puppy pads. If she is walked, she will go to the bathroom outside.

Are you looking for a velcro dog (she will jump a childgate in order to be with her person) that is calm, cool, and collected? Winky is an 8 y/o Chi mix weighing about 10 lbs available for adoption with Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. She's a sweet, gentle girl with a soft, pleasant demeanor and she loves to be cuddled. Winky seems to be house/crate-trained and gets along with other dogs. Given Winky is missing an eye, she's probably visually impaired (but it doesn't allow her down). 😉 And she might have hearing impairment as well, or it's simply Chi Selective Hearing (yes, that's a thing 😉). Winky is not a fan of a crate and is vocal about it. As with most Chis, she's not a fan of cold weather and is quick to take care of potty business as long as you go outside with her. Max is friendly with all people and good with kids; he also plays well with other dogs. He knows sit, lay down and shake and is a polite gentleman around the house. He is more energetic than you’d picture a dog his age to be, and he enjoys life to the fullest – which will serve as your reminder to do the same.
