Story
Meet Anderson Pooper!   Anderson Pooper entered the City of Corona Animal Services as a stray. After he wasn't reclaimed, we scooped him up on August 14th to become a Frosted Face. Anderson Pooper is about 10 years old and is as cute as can be!   Anderson Pooper joined volunteers on an outing to Mission Beach and earned a rave review for being a calm, well-behaved companion. He was great in the car. He enjoyed cuddling and laying on a blanket feeling the breeze. The volunteers reported that they look forward to taking Anderson Pooper on another outing soon!   Anderson Pooper went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he like in a home environment. We received a great report from his Fling Mom:   "It’s been so cool getting to know this little guy! Here’s a recap of what I’ve learned during our fling:   Anderson is smart! Despite being blind, he learned the house quickly and knows where his stuff is, loves his calming beds, and burrowing blankets. Often he wanders around for awhile checking things out, then makes up his mind on what he wants and does it  Anderson doesn’t mind being picked up and carried, to bed etc, but we started a game called “follow the feets” to teach him to get around the house himself and learn to trust doing things all on his own. We recently started that at the park. It's good for him to practice on a leash, and he’s doing really well. Anderson is not a dog who is going to trot down the street with you. It’s only been a few days of practicing the leash and he moves next to me more and more!   Anderson is a good eater, sleeps through the night, and loves to cuddle. He is good riding in the stroller and in the car. He loves to cuddle with Daisy, a heartbeat snuggle pup. Baths are easier every time. He doesn’t mind his body being touched, he can be sensitive to his face and feet. I feel that’ll get better with trust, and after his dental when his mouth feels so much better.    The overall advice for Anderson is give him time to just chill doing whatever he wants. It doesn’t take long for him to learn to trust you and know your house. You need to love Anderson for Anderson, quirks and all! Be ready to spend some time initially letting and helping him settle in.    Anderson’s ideal family will be patient, help build his confidence and trust. Give lots of cuddles, chicken, Stella and Chewy patties, and sit outside with the wind blowing his hair! Anderson is such a deserving sweet little soul. It’s been extremely rewarding getting to know this little man and watch him open up. Please consider adding Anderson to your family!"   If you are interested in being Anderson Pooper's forever family, please fill out our placement questionnaire at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply   Learn more about our programs at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family  No adoption fees, and we provide free lifetime medical care onsite at FFF Veterinary Hospital.   Questions:  adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org September 24, 2023, 4:19 am

Story
Dobby is an active guy who loves to be around his people, goes on walks and fetches a ball for you. He is a 20 lb. Bichon Frise (mostly) mix. He likes other dogs and gets along with them fine. His bark is adorable! You would think he's part hound dog, it is not excessive but very endearing. He is housebroken, his foster has a dog door he uses to access the backyard day and night. He is a pretty active guy for being 12 years old, and as such, would do best in an active household. One of his favorite spots, in the evening, is right next to you for a little love and attention. He is genuinely loving and just wants to be your guy.
