Hello, I am Lucio. I was named after my rescuers Primo and she has been dreading the day of listing me available for adoption because she has admittedly grown extremely attached to me.😣 I have been brought up with her personal dogs the last few weeks and I have shown so much obedience skill and recall she thinks I’d be a good service dog prospect. I’m learning commands in three different languages, English, Spanish and Japanese and when it came to getting my vaccines and other vetting, I was a perfect gentleman. I did not flinch or cry, even when getting microchipped, I didn’t have to be put to sleep or numbed for my microchip I just sat there and took it like a champ! 😁 I’ve been blessed to socialize with just about every animal you can think of ! Other dogs, cats, birds, rodents, ducks, chickens, turkeys, house goats, sheep, Quails, and many more. I am very sweet and very gentle with everyone. I love to play and although I’d do find alone, it is my rescuers dream for me to go to a home with other animals or children. I am incredibly social, but it’s not a dealbreaker if my forever family doesn’t have a companion for me, I’ve shown a lot of focus and attention to my rescuer when doing anything around the house or training other dogs so I would make a great emotional support or therapy Dog prospect I’m not going to be very big maybe 10 pounds when I’m full grown, but probably less than that but I have a very big personality despite my small size. This is the hardest part in rescue for the rescuer because getting attached doesn’t happen as often as you would think when you have done it as long as she has, but knowing I go to the absolute best home possible is her overall goal so please be ready to provide my rescuer with lots of information on you, your home life, and family/self and expect tears when you come meet me, I look forward to meeting you!
