HILTON is 5 years old and 7 pounds and just has a really great temperament and house manners.  I can trust him home alone with my personal dogs while I am gone.  He is very crate trained though  Those are not very good pictures of him and they make him look bigger than he is.  I will get more pictures of him soon. He walks very well on a leash, no pulling and rides in the car without getting sick.  If you are interested in adopting HILTON, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Meet Bernadette – The Sweetest Toy Poodle You’ll Ever Meet!  This beautiful 9-pound Toy Poodle girl has been through a lot, but she’s ready to leave the past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will love her the way she deserves. At just 5 years old, Bernadette is on the tail end of recovering from a broken leg, which required 6 weeks in a cast. Despite everything she’s endured, she has blossomed into the sweetest, most spirited little girl—and she’s eager to find a home to call her own. Over the past few weeks, Bernadette has come so far. She’s become much more social and confident, loving to meet new people without the fear she once had. She’s learned to enjoy car rides, walks perfectly on a leash, and is so excited to explore the world around her. What really shines through though, is her gentle, loving nature. Bernadette is ready to give her heart to someone who will appreciate how sweet and devoted she truly is. She may be small in size, but Bernadette has a big heartand an even bigger desire to be loved. She’s going to make the best little lap dog—there’s nothing she’d love more than to cuddle up with her forever family. After everything she’s been through, finding her forever home would mean the world to her. She’s been through so much already and is looking for the perfect family to offer her the love, comfort, and security she deserves for the rest of her life. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will give you her all, Bernadette is waiting. She is ready to become the loyal companion and loving lap dog you’ve been searching for. Please don’t wait—email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.comto make Bernadette a part of your family today! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 11:29 pm

Story
Meet Annie!Breed Guess: Toy Poodle mix?                      Age: 12 years old Date of Birth: 10-5-12  Weight: 7.94lbs Other Animals: Gets along with other well balanced calm dogs. Young and/or energetic pups are too much for her. Interested in the resident foster cat but only playfully. Would be content as an only pet.Kids: has not met any yet. Quiet respectful children can be considered.House training: Navigates stairs to backyard well. Understands backyard is where appropriate business is completed. If not acknowledged when asks to go out will use pee pad. Exercise needs: A short walk a few times a day would delight her. Otherwise, she is happy sitting with or being near her human. What she's great at: Riding in the car. Adapting to her surroundings and learning a routine. What she's working on: Accepting her new adventure in New England. She's not in St. Thomas anymore. Personality: Sweet. She is opening up day by day. Once she is comfortable she gets very excited to see her human. Even does zoomies. Annie's Story: Recent life change for Annie and her human mom brought her to us. Her mom's dementia led her to surrender Annie to the St. Thomas Humane Society. Volunteers there did not feel shelter life was best for her so reached out to us to assist in finding her next home. Dream Home: A quiet home with or without another canine companion as long as her human is home often. She requires a regular grooming event every 6 to 8 weeks and a human to treat her like the Princess she is. ##2368034##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Banjo – A Spirited Soul with a Story to Tell DOB: ~August 23, 2022 | Weight: 21.6 lbs | Adoption Fee: $400 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Look at that happy face—Banjo is a character through and through! This little guy is full of charm, always up for some time in the play yard, and never says no to attention from his favorite volunteers. He’s friendly, social, and has a big personality packed into a compact body. Banjo’s story hasn’t been an easy one. After being found on the streets and fully vetted by our team, we searched for his owners for months. Just as he was about to be adopted, his previous owners came forward. Sadly, a year later, Banjo was found on the streets again, and we were called to take him back into our care. His former owners, currently without stable housing, agreed it was best that Banjo find a safe, secure forever home. Due to past food insecurity, Banjo can be food-aggressive with other dogs. He’s shown no aggression toward people and does well with small dogs, but may be a bit pushy with larger ones. With a bit of patience and structure, Banjo has all the potential to thrive. Banjo is now safe, healthy, and ready for a brighter future. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s ready to be truly home for good, Banjo could be your perfect match. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2025, 2:38 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Chloe! I am a 9 month old Bichon Frise/Maltese mix - I may be small at 8lbs, but boy I sure am mighty! I'm high energy and love to play nonstop with my toys and adore roughhousing with my canine foster sister (she's double my size, but I love it and hold my own no problem). My foster mom describes me as fearless - I love everybody I meet, even goats and horses. I've even been dubbed a friendly little sprite! I am a busy, Energizer bunny and am looking for an active family that I can be part of. Expect me to be a lapdog? No thank you! I want to go on lots of adventures, accompany you to kids' sports practices, maybe even meet new friends at Farmers Markets and Breweries. My perfect home will have another playful dog or two and I would be thrilled to burn off energy with kids (I adore my human foster siblings - we tire each other out!). To learn how to make me your next 4-legged family member, please contact my talent manager, Michelle at michelle.p@poainc.org AND complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org.
