Story
Add five years and only nine pounds, this beautiful Toy Poodle girl is just on the tail end of having her broken leg heal after 6 weeks in a cast. In the five weeks that she's been healing, just after she was taken from a backyard breeder home,  she has bloomed into a beautiful little Spirited girl.   She loves to go for car rides and walks nicely on a leash.  She's become so much more social and used to meeting new people over the past 6 weeks, and without a high fear factor.   She is simply going to be the best little lap dog and lover girl ever.  If you are interested in this lovely Poodle girl, hurry and Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 11:40 am

Story
Meet Annie!Breed Guess: Toy Poodle mix?                      Age: 12 years old Date of Birth: 10-5-12  Weight: 7.94lbs Other Animals: Gets along with other well balanced calm dogs. Young and/or energetic pups are too much for her. Interested in the resident foster cat but only playfully. Would be content as an only pet.Kids: has not met any yet. Quiet respectful children can be considered.House training: Navigates stairs to backyard well. Understands backyard is where appropriate business is completed. If not acknowledged when asks to go out will use pee pad. Exercise needs: A short walk a few times a day would delight her. Otherwise, she is happy sitting with or being near her human. What she's great at: Riding in the car. Adapting to her surroundings and learning a routine. What she's working on: Accepting her new adventure in New England. She's not in St. Thomas anymore. Personality: Sweet. She is opening up day by day. Once she is comfortable she gets very excited to see her human. Even does zoomies. Annie's Story: Recent life change for Annie and her human mom brought her to us. Her mom's dementia led her to surrender Annie to the St. Thomas Humane Society. Volunteers there did not feel shelter life was best for her so reached out to us to assist in finding her next home. Dream Home: A quiet home with or without another canine companion as long as her human is home often. She requires a regular grooming event every 6 to 8 weeks and a human to treat her like the Princess she is. ##2368034##

Story
Romeo is adorable. We found him at another breeder and couldnt leave him he was heavily matted. He got a nice haircut and cleaned up and is ready for a new couch! He gets along with everyone even our big dogs! So easy going and friendly. He would love to be snuggling on your couch. He is a retired breeding dog and will need to be neutered he also needs a dental which is common for toy breeds. The paperwork he came with puts him at 5 years old vet said maybe a little older. He acts healthy and young in my opinion. He is 6 lbs so perfect size for someone in a Smaller home or apartment. Really just a sweetheart I hope her hits the jackpot with his new owners!

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are looking for a cuddle buddy look no more.  HILTON is your guy, he cuddles very softly and quietly.  And if not cuddling with you he is a great playmate with the other small breed dogs. HILTON is 5 years old and 7 pounds and just has a really great temperament and house manners.  I can trust him home alone with my personal dogs while I am gone.  He is very crate trained though  Those are not very good pictures of him and they make him look bigger than he is.  I will get more pictures of him soon. He walks very well on a leash, no pulling and rides in the car without getting sick.  If you are interested in adopting HILTON, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         January 10, 2025, 1:29 pm
