During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Hello! This is Honey, and she is looking for her new family. She is a 15 week old toy Bichon-Poodle and absolutely adorable. Her expected adult weight is between 6-10lbs. Honey is litter box trained, very loving, and extremely affectionate. She’s a true velcro dog, she loves to follow you around the house and is happiest snuggled up in your arms. Honey is generally quiet, easy to care for, and playful. She does wonderfully with my children and has been such a sweet companion. We truly wish we could keep her, but one of my children is allergic to her dander, which is why we are searching for a new home for her. She does not shed. Honey will make a wonderful addition to a loving family!

Story
Teddy is the cutest puppy we have ever seen! He's a tiny little chaos bear - full on teething and the typical puppy high energy...he adores wrestling with his foster siblings - his best friend is a 50lb pit bull mix (also up for adoption!). Teddy requires a home with other dogs in it. He is fine with children though no babies as he is so small that rough hands can hurt him easily. He is still working on housetraining so please dont apply if youre not willing to housebreak him. Teddy is fostered in Hoston TX and will not be transported until adopted. His adoption fee is $850 (plus transit if not local). In order to be considered as his new paw-rents, you must fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. Inquiries to this ad alone will not receive a response due to high volume and low follow though by adopters. https://youtube.com/shorts/x1AK9lxD5tI?feature=share
