Story
Fripette is a lovely little dog.  Very quiet and sleeps most of the day in her hiding spots.  She loves to chase and retrieve her balls and brings me one when she wants to play.  As far as I know she does not bark when I leave but cries loudly when I get back.   She is indifferent to other dogs but will stand still when they approach or hide behind me.  She also shies away from people when they try to pat her and will not come out from under the small table when I have company.  In the four months she has been here, my friends have only seen her once when she ran out to pee.  She also hesitates to get on the elevator if anyone else is on it and I have had to wait for another one at times.   She doesn't seem interested in being outside too much.  She will do her business and head back to the door, always checking behind her.  I have only gotten her to walk around the building a few times but she seems so nervous.  She also doesn't care to ride in the car    She is more or less house trained.  She wakes me up about 4:30/5:00 a.m. and goes out to urinate on pads on the balcony.  I also have to keep pads down in the dining room and have covered the carpet with plastic, as she does have accidents if she can't wake me or I am out.  She has to urinate several times during the day between walks     Fripette is not a cuddly dog, doesn't like being held or sitting beside me.  She seems happy just laying on the floor beside me, so she does follow me around.   She has a good appetite   Health-wise she has Cushings which will cost approx. 150.00 per month for her medication April 29, 2024, 5:50 pm

***REMINDER:  Please read the bio requirements and only fill in the application if you can meet ALL requirements. Due to the number of applications being received for each dog, we are only able to contact the applicants who have met ALL the listed Requirements*** Name/Tag#:  Francie 4043 Age: 10 years old Sex/Altered: Female/ Spayed Weight: 7 lbs Breed: Poodle Foster Home Location: OTTAWA, ON Adoption Fee:  $600.00 Temperament: Very loveable Activity/Energy Level: Low Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: Work in progress Crate Trained: No Ok with Dogs:  Yes Ok with Cats:  Yes Ok with Kids:  Yes, kids over 12 years Origin: mill release Requirements:  Securely fenced yard, someone home most of the time, experienced patient owner, no kids under 12 years.    About Francie: Francie’s past included life in a puppy mill. While her past was not kind to her, her future now is bright. Francie is very loving, all she wants is to be right next to people and lap up any attention available. Francie has mastered walking on a leash and enjoys her daily walks. She is fantastic at meeting other dogs, in fact crazy young pups sparks her curiosity, I think it brings her back to the days when she took care of her own puppies. The type of home that would be a great fit for Francie would be one that has patience while she masters toilet training.  Once you get to know her routine, you will know when she needs to be let outside, a backyard helps with this.  She loves being with people all day/night, so someone home most of the time or someone that can take her along with them would be a great fit. Francie could live with another dog, but they would need to know that Francie really wants all hands on her, so as long as they are not jealous then they definitely would be a good match.  Francie needs to be able to sleep with you, which is not a problem since she is tiny, she squeezes herself between the pillows and you won’t even know she is there, when you are ready to start your day, she will wake up along with you. She can hold herself all night. Are you looking for the most loveable companion ever, then look no further, Francie is waiting to hear from you. Questions?
