***REMINDER:  Please read the bio requirements and only fill in the application if you can meet ALL requirements. Due to the number of applications being received for each dog, we are only able to contact the applicants who have met ALL the listed Requirements*** Name/Tag#:  Francie 4043 Age: 10 years old Sex/Altered: Female/ Spayed Weight: 7 lbs Breed: Poodle Foster Home Location: OTTAWA, ON Adoption Fee:  $600.00 Temperament: Very loveable Activity/Energy Level: Low Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: Work in progress Crate Trained: No Ok with Dogs:  Yes Ok with Cats:  Yes Ok with Kids:  Yes, kids over 12 years Origin: mill release Requirements:  Securely fenced yard, someone home most of the time, experienced patient owner, no kids under 12 years.    About Francie: Francie’s past included life in a puppy mill. While her past was not kind to her, her future now is bright. Francie is very loving, all she wants is to be right next to people and lap up any attention available. Francie has mastered walking on a leash and enjoys her daily walks. She is fantastic at meeting other dogs, in fact crazy young pups sparks her curiosity, I think it brings her back to the days when she took care of her own puppies. The type of home that would be a great fit for Francie would be one that has patience while she masters toilet training.  Once you get to know her routine, you will know when she needs to be let outside, a backyard helps with this.  She loves being with people all day/night, so someone home most of the time or someone that can take her along with them would be a great fit. Francie could live with another dog, but they would need to know that Francie really wants all hands on her, so as long as they are not jealous then they definitely would be a good match.  Francie needs to be able to sleep with you, which is not a problem since she is tiny, she squeezes herself between the pillows and you won’t even know she is there, when you are ready to start your day, she will wake up along with you. She can hold herself all night. Are you looking for the most loveable companion ever, then look no further, Francie is waiting to hear from you. Questions? Story
Name: 마음 (Maeum) Age: Estimated 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 13 lbs Breed: Mixed breed Neutered: Neutered (recovered from heartworm) Vaccination: Completed 4th round Relationship with Adults: Maeum is a bit fearful of all adults, but he particularly loves female humans. He has experienced trauma from male humans, so he needs more time to build trust with them. He's been living in a foster home for 8 months, and he's still afraid of men, but with patience, he will likely adjust well. Relationship with Children: Maeum is scared of children as they have thrown stones at him in the past. However, he doesn't reject their touch and can get along with children in the same household. Relationship with Other Dogs: He is not very interested in other dogs and can be fearful of both large and small dogs. Sometimes he may show interest in bigger dogs if they have a similar body language, but caution is advised as he's still learning social skills. Relationship with Cats: Maeum is also scared of cats but doesn't pay much attention to them. He is a considerate and gentle dog, so he may get along well with cats once he's familiar with them. House Training: Initially, Maeum may do some marking until he fully adjusts, but currently, he has no bathroom accidents. He tends to lift his leg and urinate, so using longer pee pads against the wall is a good idea. Energy Level: He is extremely gentle and timid, not prone to accidents or mischief. He is quite fearful of loud noises and toys that make noise. Separation Anxiety/Barking: Maeum has some separation anxiety because he loves human interaction. He may show signs of it in the first few minutes but can wait quietly when left alone. He rarely barks, except when he's happy to see people. Affection and Petting: He loves being petted and cuddled. Walking: Maeum enjoys walks and walks calmly. He may be uncomfortable in unfamiliar places or around loud noises, especially when children are playing with balls nearby. Escape Possibility: Maeum doesn't try to leave the side of those he trusts (typically females). There's very little chance of him running away, but caution is advised when outside. Rescue Story: Maeum spent a long time as a stray dog, living in a large open space with other dogs. He endured harsh weather conditions, facing extreme cold in winter and scorching sun in summer. He had no shelter and had to deal with mosquito swarms every evening. Despite this, he greeted people who came to feed him, but some cruel individuals cut his leash and chased him away. A few days later, he was found at a shelter, rescued, and brought to safety. He's an incredibly sweet dog despite the hardships he's faced. Please note that Maeum's past experiences have left him with some fears and anxieties, so it's essential to provide him with a patient and loving environment to help him heal and adjust. Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org. This pet is currently in Korea but can fly to Lax, JFK, DFW, Chicago, SFO, SeaTac, DC, Boston, ATL, Vancouver and Toronto upon the adoption.

Story
Garden! ❤💕🐾 The Happy and Energetic Bichon Frise! Meet Garden! A friendly and outgoing 3 years old male Bichon Frise weighing in at 7kg or approx. 15 lbs. Garden is fully vaccinated and neutered and in search of his forever family. Garden has a very friendly personality and is kind to everyone he encounters. He is always wagging his tail, with a big doggy smile on his face. Garden has shown zero signs of aggression towards any animals or humans. He gets along great with men, women and other dogs! He is nondestructive and enjoys cuddling up with a nice dog toy! Garden was rescued at a high kill dog shelter. When he was rescued off of the streets in a highly trafficked tourist area, we assumed he was someone’s pet. After spending some time in the shelter, no one came for Garden. He was on his way to being euthanized, but our rescue was able to save him and now we are on the hunt for his furever home. Please open your heart and home up and consider adopting Garden.
