Story
Tucker is grey toy poodle. He is approximately 5 years old and he weighs 11 pounds. He is currently up to date on vaccines as of June, but he will be due in July. He was heartworm negative last year and has been on heartworm prevention, so he should still be heartworm negative. He is very sweet and people oriented, but he can be pretty nervous and sensitive. He requires a gentle and patient owner. He is house broken and good for the groomer. He is good with cats but nervous around other dogs. I think he likely would be nervous around small children too. I have had Tucker for about a year, I took him in to get him out of a bad situation but I am not able to be a long term home for him or give him the attention he deserves. He would love to be somebody’s lap dog. I will be screening to make sure he goes to a good home.

Story
Edna Crabapple was her name when she was at Memphis Animal Shelter. Edna is about six years old and is probably a Lhasa apso mix. She now weighs 18 lbs, she has gained quite a bit since her rescue. Edna was a bit snappy at the shelter. You have to earn her trust. She is happy in her foster home but stays to herself a lot. She loves her crate and getting two square meals a day. She came to us with hardly any hair from neglect and poor nutrition; she was Heartworm positive. Edna has been treated for the heartworms and grown back her hair. Once she knows you she comes out to be petted. She needs to go to an adult home. Her adoption fee is $200 After reading this pet's info, if you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the online adoption application found at realgooddogrescue.com The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard.
