We acquired him as a puppy from a very established breeder as a birthday gift, and he has been raised in a loving home. He is currently 2 years old. He is a toy poodle with a beautiful chocolate multi-colored coat and two different colored eyes, one blue and one brown, which makes him very unique. He is extremely sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented. He has also been a wonderful emotional support animal (ESA). He is very intuitive, comforting, and enjoys being close to his person. He is very active and loves daily walks, outdoor time, and play, but he also loves to eat and is food-motivated, which makes him responsive to training and routines. He is potty trained and knows basic command words. We are looking for a responsible, permanent home that understands the needs of a small, active dog and can provide regular exercise, affection, and a stable environment. Ideally, we would love a family who would be open to sharing occasional photo updates, as this decision was not easy.

Sweet senior girl, Trini, is looking for a quiet foster home where she can decompress from the shelter.Reason for Foster: Behavior Foster, DiarrheaFoster Time Frame: 2+ weeks(The foster time frame may be shorter or longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)Foster Care Plan: Trini is a senior girl who lived much of her life being the only beloved pet in her home. Though she is quite independent, she will also be affectionate with people on her own terms. She is feeling the stress of the shelter environment and we would love to find her a foster home where she can enjoy some quiet time. Trini can get overstimulated and would do best in a home without children under the age of 12. Additionally, we would recommend a dog-to-dog intro if going into a home with a resident canine. Our Behavior Team will provide a consult at the time of pick-up, so they can answer any questions and ensure that you feel comfortable welcoming this girl into your home.Trini is on medication for behavior and to treat the diarrhea.Trini is also available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. Murphy is a sweet and cuddly Toy Poodle / Bichon mix. We got her from a reputable breeder in Austin, TX 3 years ago. We recently had our first child and feel like we can’t give Murphy the love and attention she deserves. All we’re looking for is a loving home for her. More about Murphy: She’s is very smart and knows all her commands; Sit, stay, come, wait, etc. She is crate trained. She is house trained and even has a bell to ring when she needs to go potty. She is a great listener. She loves walks, parks, and anything outside. She’s always had good reports when we have boarded her She can be very energetic but is easily worn out with a walk and some play time From time to time she will pee if she gets too excited, but that’s usually only when meeting new people.
