Meet Lamp Chop! Breed: Mini Poodle x Chihuahua MixGender: FemaleAge: AdultSize: Small ([WEIGHT])Good with: Other dogs, patient people who love cuddles Lamp Chop can be a little nervous when first meeting people, but she warms quickly and then becomes a snuggle magnet! Once she decides you're safe, there's no turning back—you've officially been claimed as a source of affection and comfort. She loves to be loved on, and if you stop? She will paw at you for more. It's adorable, effective, and absolutely impossible to resist. This sweet little Poodle x Chihuahua mix gets along well with other dogs and often relies on them for confidence and direction. Having canine companions helps Lamp Chop feel brave and secure, so a home with another calm, confident dog would be ideal for her. She learns from watching her doggy friends and uses them as her emotional support system while she navigates the world. Lamp Chop is the perfect combination of nervous-but-brave and cuddly-once-comfortable. She needs someone patient enough to give her a moment to warm up, but who will then be rewarded with a devoted little shadow who just wants endless snuggles and affection. At her small size, she's the perfect lap dog who will happily curl up and stay there as long as you'll let her. If you're looking for a sweet companion who will warm up to you and then never leave your side, has adorable ways of demanding attention, and would thrive with another dog in the home, Lamp Chop is ready to light up your life! We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. Story
Meet Coco Gutierez 🐕 Coco is a 5-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix weighing about 12 lbs who was surrendered to us alongside his best friend, Mia Gutierez. These two are a bonded pair and take great comfort in navigating the world together. Like Mia, Coco can be fearful in new situations and needs time to feel safe. Compared to Mia, he has a more confident presence and often takes the lead when the two are together. Once he settles in, his curiosity really shines—especially when food is involved! Treats are a great way to earn his trust and help him explore new things. Coco also appears to be cat-friendly. When introduced to a cat, he was calm and respectful, showing little interest in bothering his feline companion. Instead, he was much more interested in the people around him and happily accepting attention and affection. Coco is still working on potty training and will benefit from a patient home that can provide a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. In a familiar, safe environment, he’s already beginning to show more of his playful, inquisitive side, especially when he’s with Mia. Coco would thrive in a calm, understanding home that respects his boundaries, embraces his food motivation, and keeps him together with his bonded companion. With time, consistency, and lots of love, he has so much potential to grow into a confident and loving little guy. 💙🐾 Adoption fee is: $300 / $600 for the pair ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet Mia Gutierez 🐾 Mia is a 5-year-old miniature poodle mix with a soft grey coat, a tiny 10-lb body, and a heart that’s still learning how to feel safe. She was surrendered with her best friend, Coco Gutierez, and the two are a bonded pair who find comfort and confidence in each other. Mia is very fearful when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments. She may freeze, hide, or take time to observe — she’s not sassy or aggressive, just scared. The good news? Once she feels safe (especially with familiar people), her happy, playful curiosity comes out, and she loves showing it off alongside Coco. Mia also appears to be cat-friendly. When introduced to a cat, she was calm and respectful, showing little interest in bothering her feline friend. Instead, she seemed much more focused on the people around her and happily soaking up affection. She’ll need help with potty training and will do best with a patient, understanding home that lets her move at her own pace. A consistent routine and gentle, positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her continue to build confidence. With time, love, and her pal Coco by her side, Mia has all the ingredients to truly blossom. 💖🐕 Adoption fee is: $300 '/ $600 for the pair ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract.
