About Me: Names:  Road Warrior, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, and more Breed (or best guess): Maltese, Poodle, Shih Tzu type mixes Approximate Age: 3-6 yrs Gender: M Approximate Weight: around 10 lb Adoption Fee: $495 for 1 or adopt a pair for $850 Requirements: patience to train for leash walking, another dog is helpful Why In Rescue: Owner passed away Profile:  The Wrestler Pack is a group of young dogs from 3-6 whose owner passed away.  They were left in poor grooming condition and had fleas.  They have now been clipped, bathed, treated for fleas, and updated their vet care.  They have been started on vaccines, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  Prior to adoption they will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested negative, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and passed a veterinary exam. They are all friendly dogs but seem to have never walked on a leash.  They may have spent much of their time outside, so we don't know about their housetraining.  They do want to be with other dogs and get along well with each other, so may have separation anxiety if there isn't another dog in the home.  (Don't have another dog, think about adopting two if you have the time, space, and finances.  There is a reduced adoption fee for adopting a pair.)  We don't know if they have been exposed to children or to cats.
