🐾💛 Hi! Hey! Hello! My name is Sally! 💛🐾I'm a 2-year-old, 35-pound Beagle/Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, and if you're looking for a happy-go-lucky girl with a big personality, a curious mind, and springs in her feet, you just might have found me! 🥰I wasn't given the easiest start in life. I was one of more than 100 animals living in a terrible hoarding situation. Thankfully, some incredibly kind people stepped up for us, and we were relocated to shelters where we could finally begin learning what life as a loved pet is supposed to be. ❤️ I'm still figuring some things out. New situations can make me a little nervous, and I've never really had the chance to settle into a loving home of my own. But I'm learning more every day, and once I feel comfortable, my happy, silly personality really shines! I'm a people-loving girl who doesn't enjoy being alone for long. I would much rather have my humans nearby—or at least another friendly dog to keep me company. I'm also not a fan of being confined, so I would do best with a family who understands my history and can help me feel safe and secure. I'm also quite the little Houdini! 😜 At some point in my past, figuring out how to escape was a survival skill, and I've learned that I'm pretty good at climbing fences and using whatever is around me to make my great escape. Because of that, I'll need supervised outdoor time and leashed walks rather than being left unattended in a fenced yard. Honestly, with my athletic abilities, someone should probably put me to work! 😂 I have springs in my feet and do the cutest little flips when I see people coming. I think I'd absolutely LOVE agility training! I'm incredibly smart, energetic, and eager to please, so giving my brain a job would be a wonderful way to help me thrive. And boy, do I love my adventures! I love going for walks and will sniff, investigate, and inspect EVERYTHING along the way. 👃🐾 I also LOVE playing in the water! 💦 Whether it's splashing around or just having some fun getting my paws wet, water is definitely one of my favorite things. I'd make an awesome hiking or running buddy for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. Give me somewhere to explore, something interesting to sniff, and maybe some water to splash in, and I'm one happy girl! I'm also highly food motivated, so between my brains and my love of yummy snacks, training me can be a whole lot of fun. And if treats aren't available, a good ear scratch is an acceptable form of bribery, too. 😉🍪I'm fantastic with other dogs and can adapt to lots of different personalities and play styles. Having a canine friend could be especially wonderful for me since I enjoy having company. Once I get comfortable with you, I'm quite the love bug. After we've had our fun and I've gotten all my zoomies out, I'll happily crash right beside you for a nice long nap. 🥰💤I'm still learning about car rides, but I load into vehicles all by myself and ride okay. With regular trips and a little encouragement, I think I could become quite the traveling companion! 🚗🐾I'm a girl with a lot of personality, a LOT of potential, and so much love waiting to be given. I just need someone who understands that my past shaped me, but it doesn't have to define my future.
