Raccoon gets along wonderfully with other dogs and clearly feels comforted by their presence. Around people, she’s incredibly shy — she ducks when you reach to pet her and is hesitant to have a collar or leash put on. But once that leash is on, she walks beautifully and shows glimmers of the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. She’ll need a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. With love, calm reassurance, and consistency, Raccoon will blossom into the loyal, loving dog she’s meant to be.
