Story
To apply or see more of Stormi, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2024/2/8/stormi Stormi is an approximately 17lb mixed breed. She did an amazing job raising her babies and now it’s her turn for a forever home. She lives with 4 other dogs and loves to play with them. She's leash trained, clicker trained, potty trained, crate trained and not destructive in the home. She loves affection from her people and sleeps in bed with us and our other dogs. An A+ cuddler! While she love close circle, she just needs a little bit to warm up to strangers. She loves adventures and is good in the car! No kitties or small critters for Stormi in her forever home as chase is her favorite game! She is food motivated making her easier to train. Stormi is being fostered in ORLAND, CA Estimated DOB: 9/21/2022 Adoption donation of $250 includes: Spay, Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella, Microchip Interested in adopting? 1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application 2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call! 3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time. Follow facebook.com/heartsforpawsrescue & Instagram @heartsforpawsrescue for more! Story
Fiona may not be a princess, but she is royalty in our eyes! Fiona is estimated to be 11 months old and is the sweetest girl around. She is eager to make friends with all the people she meets and is quick to roll over and ask for belly rubs. She is a moderate-energy girl who can chill when you're busy and can also be your right-hand girl on an adventure. Fiona is pretty much fully grown and weighs just over 20lbs. Fiona came to us from the Stockton Animal Shelter after she was found as a stray. She was in pretty bad shape when she was found and had a fractured leg and multiple pelvic fractures. We parented with the UC Davis Fracture Program to get her all fixed up and after multiple surgeries, she has been cleared to begin doing normal activity and is ready to find her forever home! Fiona is such a loving girl whose happy place is being with her favorite people. She is such a cuddle bug and is quick to join you on the couch or in bed for some snuggle time. She loves to be doing whatever you are doing, whether that is being a couch potato or venturing around the neighborhood. She has been doing very well learning her basic manners but is still learning how to be the best girl she can be and will need a family committed to continuing her training. Fiona is uncomfortable around dogs, so would probably do best as an only dog. She has done well being near other dogs but is nervous when they try to approach her. Fiona has done very well with the little foster kittens in her foster home and could do well living with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Fiona has done well with the kids she has met and could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 5 years and older. Fiona has been doing well with her housetraining with a routine but may have accidents while adjusting to a new home and routine. Her new family should be consistent about taking her outside and be patient while she is learning. Fiona has been doing well being crated when home alone and overnight. Fiona is such a darling girl who has been such a loving pup, even with all that she has been through. She is ready for a fresh start by finding her forever family. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today!   Fiona's adoption fee is $300.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. May 23, 2024, 2:08 pm

Story
Sadie is a very friendly and playful girl. She is almost a year and a half, we rescued her about 6 months ago. She has been through some training, however we cannot keep her due to our family having to move again. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats, and has been very sweet/gentle with my three year old brother. She is a bit shy at first but she warms up very quickly to new people and animals. She is very expressive (as beagles tend to be) and will definitely let you know if she needs something, she has recently learned to bay. She is a snuggler and loves to cuddle up in bed and watch tv. We are looking for a sweet and active family for out girl to have the most fun she possibly can.

Story
Luna is a 4 year old purebred Beagle. She has been with us for almost 2 years, as we adopted her from another family. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and potty trained. She is mostly indoors, and has access to our big yard. She is a sweet loving dog who will match your energy. She is just as happy to be snuggling with you on the couch, as she is zooming across the yard fetching toys. We are a family of 4 with teenage children and she loves to be around everyone. She has been around other dogs and been okay, cats are unknown (she does love to chase squirrels). Luna is a typical Beagle who will follow her nose to explore everything and bays/howls when she finds something she likes. She is a smart dog, responds to training, though strong willed at times and known to bolt free (i.e. run away from home) if given opportunity. Applicants must have experience with Beagles and willing to give her the attention and enrichment she needs.

Story
Meet Junior and Ruby! These 2 pups were an owner surrender due to the owners having no time to care for them, they were often let out to roam freely on the streets. Junior is a 1yr old male tan and white beagle mix with a super fun personality! He is starting to come out of his shell more and more, will walk on leash and is almost housebroken. Ruby is a 2-3 yr old female terrier mix and more on the shy side. She will take some time and patience to learn that people are not scary, but when she opens up she is the sweetest most loving girl! She walks well on leash and is also almost housebroken. Both pups are fixed, microchipped dewormed and current on vaccines. We would love for them to go to a home together because they really rely on, and comfort each other, but they can be separated as well. If you would like to meet these sweet babies who deserve a loving forever home please fill out an application at https://www.ozziespoundpuppies.org/applications/adoption-application/ adoption fee $300 (one fee waived if adopted together)
