A spirited five-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound currently in Ventura, CA, whose essence is pure comedic charm wrapped in a stunning tri-color coat and punctuated by the most expressive eyes and floppy ears you’ve ever seen. Stevie is a true original. Goofy, sweet, and endlessly entertaining! Whether she's bounding full-speed through a fenced yard, joining a pack of dog friends for a play session, or trotting proudly on a leash (while alerting the neighborhood with her unmistakable bay), she brings a dose of joy wherever she goes. Her hound nose is always on the move, so scent-based games like treat-hiding are right up her alley! She's also a fan of long hikes, cozy naps after exercise, and at home she’s actually quite independent, happy to do her own thing. She does get excited when it’s time to go out and always hopes to join for car rides, where she does great on regular 2-hour trips. Don’t let the loud bark and stubborn streak fool you, Stevie is affectionate, silly, and incredibly smart. This active, scent-driven hound thrives in a home that understands her breed’s quirks like a deep voice, strong-willed nature, and a powerful nose that sometimes leads her on kitchen adventures.
