Story
Chief has shown to be a sweet passive boy since he was rescued from the side of the road. He doesn't let anything bother him when he's surrounded by 20-50 dogs playing all over at the rescue. He likes to follow people around and get attention when he feels safe, but we're not sure if he has had a lot of human interaction since he can be a little shy about approaching people for love. He will make a great companion for someone that wants a sweet boy to sit on the couch with or take on walks.

Story
Kay Kay wasn’t found in the best condition by a homeless woman, and then by SGER. Kay Kay was found with an extension cord around her neck, no hair due to a skin infection, and nails so long they were curling and made it hard/painful for her to walk. This sweet chunky girl will also have spots where she won’t have hair due to the years of neglect she suffered before SGER took her in. Now she roams the rescue where she plays, sleeps, and clearly enjoys eating and treats. This girl wants nothing more than someone to love and call her own where they will spoil her with love and a lap to rest her head. Kay Kay is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on HW prevention, crate trained, and house trained. She is an all around wonderful girl that loves everyone and everything. Kay Kay can be cat tested upon request.

Story
Avery is a special girl that came to us after being found eating trash on the side of the road. She is a total sweetheart that was dealt a crappy start to her life, but we're determined to make the rest of her life better than she could ever imagined. For a dog that has clearly been abused and neglected, she is still very loving and willing to meet new people. She has met a few different volunteers and vet staff without any big issues. She will let you love on her with a gentle hand. She tends to jump, we're working on it, so we think a home with children over 5 would be the best so she doesn't knock any little kids down. She gets along with dogs and people. She can be cat tested.

Story
Hey! This Girl George, and she is the BIGGEST love you will meet. Her favorite thing in the whole world is to bury her head in your chest and lean all her weight into you for as long as you will let her stay there. Georgia had a life as a stray and then a pound puppy but has acclimated to pet life like a pro. She is amazing with other dogs, and even more amazing with kids. She is a gentle giant and everything she does is calm and collected. Except cats - haha. Georgia would be best served in a home with no cats. She is perfectly crate trained, better than any dog I have had actually. She stays in at night without a peep! She takes a couple naps a day in her crate as well. She is not food aggressive, but does love the occasional turkey tax when I am making school lunches. She loves long-ish walks. We did a 2.5 mile walk a couple days ago and I wore her out. She walks like a charm on the leash and just loves keeping her nose down sniffing for a scent. She has not pulled after any squirrels or anything while we are walking. She has not met a person she did not love and greeted with her signature head lean. This baby would make any home better by having her in it. I have never seen a pup more appreciative of a safe home and love than Georgia. She knows she was rescued, and her sweet spirit shows. Help me find her a home or new foster 🤍
