Story
Meet Tonks! Tonks is a little shy but wants to be your BFF with time. Tonks is a Treeing Walker Coonhound, Labrador Retriever mix who was born on 09/03/2020. When she came to TLC she was nervous but deep down, Tonks is a gentle pup and we know that she could live the very best life with an owner who has the time and patience to show her that there is so much kindness out there.Tonks` adoption fee is sponsored so that covers her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (Tonks is negative!), and she is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you`d like to meet Tonks, feel free to fill out an adoption application at tlchs.org or you are welcome to make a match making appointment to come out and meet her. We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Story
Now serving: Brisket. A 1-year-old, 38 lb neutered male BBQ-flavored mystery mix, heartworm negative and dog & cat friendly.Brisket is slow-smoked perfection with a side of zoomies. He’s tender, a little saucy, and pairs well with other dogs. At 38 lbs, he’s the perfect portion size big enough to satisfy your need for adventure, small enough to fit comfortably on the couch (and in your personal space). This original recipe boy brings the heat in the play yard but settles in nicely once he’s had time to marinate in a good routine. Warning: may cause sudden cravings for backyard cookouts and spontaneous declarations of “That’s a good boy.”Adopt Brisket and add a little flavor to your life no grill required.

Story
Okay but listen… if you ordered “tiny diva with surround sound bark” off the internet, Luna would arrive in 2 to 3 business days. 📦🐶 Luna was found running as a stray in terrible condition 💔. A kindhearted angel scooped her up, got her vetted, medicated, and slowly reintroduced her to this wild concept called love. Unfortunately, keeping her forever was not in the cards. Enter: Castoff Critter status ✨🐾 Now Luna is safe, healthy, and ready for her next chapter. And let us tell you… this girl is the SWEETEST soul. Calm. Gentle. Snuggly. Professional couch potato in training. 🛋️💗 She’s about 35 pounds, technically “small dog” sized… but when she lets out one of her occasional big, loud hound barks, you will look around for a 90 pound dog. The comedy. The confidence. The commitment to the bit. 📣😂 She's somewhere in the vicinity of 2 years old. Luna would absolutely thrive in a loving home with plenty of snuggle time. She’s especially perfect for older folks or anyone wanting a laid back best friend who just wants to be near her people. Big heart. Big personality. Compact packaging. Who’s ready to give Luna the soft landing she’s been waiting for? 💛🏡🐾

Story
A little about Duke: he is truly a snuggle bug and a lover. Because he bonds so deeply, he does struggle with separation anxiety and truly needs a home where someone is around often to give him the snuggles and attention he craves. He thrives on being close to his people and would do best as an only pet, where he can soak up all the love. He has been the absolute best big brother to our 2-year-old daughter: gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. While he needs a patient soul to help him feel secure when left alone, he is absolutely worth the extra effort. Duke is food-motivated and loves to learn; he just needs someone committed to giving him the stability he deserves
