*Coonhound*1 yr 4 mos old; 54lbs*Very sweet, welcoming fella- super handsome to boot! Open to other doggies! We are weak! We have no choice but to keep getting out this freckle eared fella `cause he`s so adorable and so darn nice!! Arriving as a stray, he`s not lost any time in settling in and is ready to go and do and make new friends. Very friendly, welcoming and graced with a happy, peaceful vibe, we say there`s nothing like a hound dog and SCOUT no doubt slips right into this category! Beautiful on the leash and of course curious about new sights and scents, he`s done a nice job in casually meeting other dogs as we walk around on site. While it`s sad to think Scout`s family is not coming for him, it`s clear they have guided him to some very appealing pet skills. Now, YOU can benefit from their investment in him. He was energetic, playful and sweet! He is not quite house trained yet and was a little nervous in the car. However, he was great on leash and such a sweet boy! He had so much fun walking, running and even watching football!! He’s the best!

Story
Scout is 8 and boy does he love his humans! He likes to be near his people, but due to a change in circumstances, we are not home enough for him. We adopted him from the Humane Society as a pup. He went through a dog training course.He is healthy and has had regular veterinary care. He needs a few minutes to accept a new person in his home, but takes to people quite well. He also gets along great with other dogs and used to go to doggy day care. He’s a great dog who just likes to be around people.He just had his annual exam and vaccinations which I can provide. I also have a 5 month supply of heartworm medication for him.I know he will be so much happier with someone who has more time for him.
