Story
Hello guys, I am looking to rehome sweet and playful Jordan. He was pulled from being euthanized and saved. He is only 2 years old, and due to my financial circumstances I cannot keep him. He is crate trained, he loves playing outside with his ball, fetch, he does great with other dogs, and is a sweetheart. He is on a schedule of getting up around 7 am, going potty outside, runs in the yard for about 30 minutes and then has his breakfast. He sleeps in the afternoon in his crate, alongside by other dog. He barely barks, you would not even know he is there. He is also heart worm negative, neutered, up to date with his all shots, and does great with kids. There is a rehoming fee.

Story
Bo is a handsome hound dog! He loves walks and car rides. He is working on not pulling so much on the leash. He is friendly and treat motivated. He does well with other big dogs and goes to doggy daycare often. He is trained on an electric fence and enjoys being outside. He knows how to sit and is working on other tricks. Bo does get nervous during thunderstorms. During a thunder storm, Bo will bark constantly. He panics because he cannot see anything to associate with the sound of the thunder. We are working with our vet to find the most effective medication to calm him down. Aside from the medication, we isolate Bo to an area in his cage where he can't hear the thunder with soft calming music on. We also put him in a Thunder coat which he loves and give him hugs and reassurance that he is okay.

Story
Roscoe is a 9 yr old, 11 lb, tri-colored Beagle/Dachshund mix. He gets along beautifully with other small dogs and enjoys playing with plush toys. Roscoe has the gentle temperament of a Beagle along with some Dachshund traits — he is curious, lively, charming, brave, stubborn, demands to be in on everything, and believes snuggling and sleeping under the bedcovers is in his bill of rights. Roscoe is friendly and affectionate with people. Roscoe could be an only dog or have another small dog (under 20 lbs) in the home. Roscoe is smart, quick and looks for every opportunity to shoot out an open door, so his adoptive family needs to be prepared to manage a quick and determined little dog. The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. There is an application process and adoption fee. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD. The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 1 1/2 inches, and attached to the home - meaning you have an inside door that opens into the fenced yard. An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $450June 18, 2024, 12:54 am
